Snowless dog driving! Why limit the fun to when we have snow when you can try driving dogs with a cart in the autumn! We offer a sit and drive combo tour by cart. You get to try both sitting on a cart and driving the cart together with a friend or partner. You can help to harness the dogs before we head out. We are out driving in our forest trails for approx 45 min. After returning you can help feed them and unharness them before returning them to their yards. We also have a cup of tea and coffee by the fire and a cinnamon roll. Of course no tour would be complete without a kennel visit and meeting the next generation...

Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
Clothing advice: waterproof gear that can get muddy and 'doggy'.
Infants up to 4 years old are required to sit on laps

What To Expect
Husky Tours Lapland
At the kennel we will give you instructions no how to drive the cart, harness a dog and head off into the forest. We drive around the area with the dogs and half way swap over so both get to try driving and sitting. After the ride we feed and unharness the dogs together before enjoying a cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll by the fire. You may also ask any questions you have at this time.

5.00My sister and I visited Husky Tours Lapland in September for a training tour with small carts that were each pulled by a team of five huskies. Kevin, our guide, gave us a great introduction on how to get the huskies into their harness and how they are arranged in front of the cart. We then went on a tour through the neighboring woods with three carts, so my sister and I got to drive each our individual cart. The huskies were super happy to go out, and we had a really fantastic tour! So incredibly much fun! Kevin took some great pictures and videos while we were out on the tour, and whenever my sister and I look at them we have to smile. When we were back from the tour, we fed the huskies, got some nice coffee and a baked treat at the open fire, and then we got to meet some very enthusiastic and incredibly adorable husky puppies! Thank you, Kevin, for a wonderful morning hanging out with your huskies!

4.00Excellent experience, the very friendly guide, explained everything very patiently. The walk with the huskies is spectacular, quite an adventure. Then being with them, petting them and receiving their affection is an activity not to be missed. The only reason I give 4 stars is because they had no pick up from the hotel, so we had to pay for a taxi which cost the same (or more) than the tour itself.

5.00The place is great, full of beautiful dogs and the staff was really nice! You get to experience driving them which is great and exciting as they are really excited too!! And afterwards you get to spend a little time with them which made the whole experience awesome. Would recommend this a 100%, specially if you are a dog person, wouldn’t miss it for the world

5.00We absolutely loved every aspect of the tour. We were also lucky to have nice weather. To drive your sled through the snow covered forest and on the lakes is such a hearty and joyful experience. Midway we stopped to have a nice fika break. The trail is super nicely chosen. A good mix of open lakes and forest. Back in the kennel we fed the dogs, unleashed them and accompanied them back to their huts. E special thanks to our guide Lucas. He is very friendly, knowledgeable about mushing and he knows his stuff while out in the back country. We will come back!

5.00We (2 daughters and I) did the Combi Tour on December 21st - in perfect weather, 40 cm of fresh snow, start 1 pm. Thick overalls, gloves and boots were important! At 4 stretched through a pristine landscape, none else far and wide. It was beautiful. Afterwards feed dogs, leash them with help and after cosy tea still cuddle Weloen by the fire. We were super happy to have come there especially from Kiruna. The combi tour (sit half way, then change) was perfect, even the distance of 18km.

5.00This trip is something completely different and we really recommend it. Driving the dog cart is straightforward but great fun and the dog teams are remarkably friendly and easy to handle. Our guide and the rest of the team were really friendly and keen to show us the whole set up. Don’t miss this if you are in Kiruna!
