We booked Zahra for a food, wine and local vibes tour of Avignon. It could not have been better. It was immediately obvious that Zahra loves what she does. She has a warm, friendly personality and a wide range of knowledge concerning food, wine and the history and culture of Avignon. She is a great teacher and a great companion.. We thoroughly enjoyed her company.

Zahra did an amazing job. We admired the time she put into reserving spots for us at each business in Avignon so that we could taste test each delicious food and wine. I also enjoyed discussing the history of the town along with this.

Zhara gave us what felt like a cultivated and extremely thoughtful food tour of Avignon. She was charming, polite and so knowledgeable about this town she loves so much- by the end we really loved it too. The tour had everything we could want- TONS of local food (cheese, chocolates, pastries, tapenades and a delightful authentic local lunch) as well as some hidden gems of the city, a wonderful history lesson and a few shopping stops. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting and hope to come again and see Zhara for another tour with some new stops.

We had a wonderful time with Zahra! Her visit was fascinating, friendly, and perfectly paced. Thanks to her, we discovered Avignon in a different way, through its history, its charming little streets, and its captivating anecdotes. The tasting of local products and Provençal specialties was a true delight: authentic flavors, carefully selected, that allowed us to discover the richness of Provence. Zahra is a warm, passionate, and attentive guide who knows how to convey her love for the region with enthusiasm. If you want to experience an authentic, gourmet adventure full of wonderful discoveries, we wholeheartedly recommend this tour!

We had an absolutely unforgettable wine tasting tour in Avignon with Zahra. From the moment we met her, she made my wife and me feel completely welcome and taken care of. Her knowledge of the local wines, vineyards, and the history of the region was incredible, but what really made the experience special was her warmth, enthusiasm, and attention to detail. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen, and Zahra created the perfect balance of education, relaxation, and fun. She introduced us to amazing wines we never would have discovered on our own and shared fascinating stories about the Provence region along the way. If you’re considering a wine tour in Avignon, do yourself a favor and book with Zahra. She turned a great day into one of the highlights of our trip to France. We can’t recommend her highly enough!

Sahra was a really super guide. She briefed us on the history that made Avignon from the earliest times through the Roman and Papal to the Renaissance period. She led us through the historical district discussing highlights of culture and architecture. The historical context made our visit to Avignon so much more enjoyable. She gave us a sampling of delicious foods and wines from across the city. She even harmonized the food with the part of the city. Next to the Papal Palace, we had special fortified wine, wafers and pastries related to the Catholic Church. Stops in the market district included artisans skilled in specialties of Provence like soap makers working with the herbs of Provence and wine merchants specializing in local wines. In a classic cafe, lunch featured fresh local food that showcased the seasonings that make Provencial foods distinctive. Each place we went, you could see the passion Sahra shared with the artisans and merchants. They had so much to share with us about the pride they took in their skill, city and region. I whole heartedly recommend Sarah’s tour.
