What a wonderful tour! Our guide led us through Segovia and discussed its historical significance. Touching the huge stones of the Roman aqueduct was very moving - to think they've been standing for 2,000+ years! We then had lunch and enjoyed the bean soup, but the suckling pig, although a delicacy in Spain, was not for us. Afterward, we went on to Ávila, where our guide explained the significance of the town and of St. Teresa. We thoroughly enjoyed the day! Highly recommend this!

Good tour to visit the most important places of Segovia and Avila. Very good lunch, wine and dessert. The very concrete Matthew guide

From the rider Luis Mariano (very careful) and the guide Mateo (dispensed everyone a lot of attention), everything has been very pleasant. I wouldn't change anything.

I loved the tour!, I would definitely travel with you again and of course I recommend it. Mateo a great guide and Patricio a super driver. Both friendly, willing to help and overall I am satisfied with the information provided throughout the tour. A little suggestion, more time in Segovia to buy souvenirs and more dining options! Thank you so much!

The bus was comfortable and clean. Our first stop was Segovia which is an interesting and beautiful place. However, the initial walk is up a fairly steep hill. At least one third of our group could not match the extremely fast pace of the guide. Because the guide often was far ahead of a good portion of the group, we were unable to hear the guide’s descriptions. The group covered a wide age range; the pace was not appropriate for the group. The restaurant was not in a central or convenient location. Although there was some free time after lunch it was not feasible to explore on our own after lunch. A restaurant in a more central location would be a much better choice for this kind of tour. Several people did not return to the bus for the second segment of the tour to Avila. The guides waited a few extra minutes and left without them. Leaving people alone in a foreign place has never happened on any other tour I have taken. This was very disturbing and unacceptable .The guides should have guests’ cell phone numbers so that they can help people who may be lost. Many people felt rushed. To stop to take pictures was almost impossible because of the pace of the guide. Segovia and Avila are fascinating places. The tour itself was disappointing.

What a disappointing and frustrating tour this turned out to be. One disclosure is that this was our first time booking a tour with more than 12 people. This particular tour turned out to have more than 40 people (full large bus) in addition to being bilingual (English/Spanish). The guide would speak in Spanish and then switch to English with no preamble. This meant that one had to stay very focused on her voice, hoping to catch the moment she switched from one language to the other in order not to miss the explanations. The guide moved really quickly from one spot to another with no time aloted to taking pictures or simply absorb your surroundings. The large number of people on the tour meant that the group stretched pretty far due to the narrow streets of the old town. The listening devices were pretty weak which meant that if one was closer to the end of the group the reception of the device was breaking up. A lot of time was wasted on waiting for people to catch up and counting and recounting them. This was in addition to the bus being almost 30 minutes late at the start. The tour guide herself was not very personable and the logistics of the tour were not handled in the best way.

An absolute must if you're visiting the Madrid area. The itinerary was planned perfectly, the guide was extremely knowledgeable, and the cities of Segovia and Ávila couldn't have been more charming.
