After that, head to Avila to admire its impressive city walls and take a guided tour of the city as you discover its fascinating history.

What To Expect
Segovia
Check in at our office in central Madrid 15 minutes in advance of your tour. Leave the city towards Segovia aboard one of our air-conditioned coaches. Our first stop will be in the city of Segovia. Upon arrival, we will be divided into different groups. If you have chosen “Full day Tour on your own”, you will enjoy approximately three hours of free time to visit the city on your own. If you have chosen the “Guided tour with monuments”, you will have access to the Alcázar of Segovia, where you will enjoy a guided tour while you marvel at its spectacular fortification. Did you know that its architecture inspired Walt Disney for one of his films? Can you tell us which one?
Walk through the old Jewish quarter of the city and visit the exterior of the Cathedral. Those who have the gastronomic lunch included will head to the restaurant; to enjoy a typical local menu with roast suckling pig that will not leave you indifferent.

5.00Our guide and driver were excellent, as was the bus. The time at the stops should be longer in Avila, especially in the church of Santa Teresa. Overall very good, recommended!

5.00The ride we liked a lot both the transportation with your driver Luis Mariano and Mateo our guide have been super friendly. The duration of the excursion seems to us to be in keeping with not being in the jousting. Matthew’s predisposition and experience can be seen in every word. He knew how to pass on thousands of years of history without it sounding like a school class. Thank you so much!!!

5.00It was a wonderful experience exploring Segovia the Castle was beautiful like nothing we had seen before. The Aqueducts were breathtaking. A true sign of intellectual architecture and craftsmanship. Avila takes you back in time giving you the feel of gotta hold the fort down. Lots of history tracing back 2000 years or older worth every second being there. Getting to walk the top part of the walls makes you want to holler release the cannons!!! Mateo was awesome very informative, kept things interesting, and easy going and funny. He made sure everyone in our group was a part of the experience. Luis Mariano our bus driver was stellar always at our meet up point on time and very kind asked us how our adventure went everytime we came back on bus. The ride to all destinations was very smooth and chill. Bus was very clean and comfortable I will definitely be back. 4 thumbs up

5.00We went with my husband and my 10-year-old baby Mateo the super attentive guide and explained everything and Antonio the super responsible driver and was always ready waiting for us. The walk through Segovia is much cuter considering it is the first destination, the visit to the castle is beautiful, super cute the city. Avila arrived at 15:30hs and it was all closed because there from 14 to 17hs closes everything so it seems like a ghost town maybe you should reverse the order of visits, but the Wall is super imposing and being able to travel it is a pleasant experience.

5.00Everything ran smooth from start to end! Meeting point easy to locate close to a subway. The scenery to get to Segovia was beautiful and ride was smooth. Jorge Torres did a beautiful job explain both English and Spanish!
