Very well organised, but rushed to visit the 3 vineyards and lunch stop. Tour leader was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to accomadate clients wishes. Compared to vineyard tours in other countries, the Hunter Valley did not meet expectations, and were disappointed with it, rather than the tour organisation.

Although this was a good day out and not terrible, Saddlers creek was a nice start and the best of the lot was The Hanging Tree. Everything else was average and tired. Last vineyard was run down, even dirty glasses for the tasting! Lunch could have been swapped out for a nice platter at one of the stops maybe? Our driver for the day was fun and friendly but not really dressed to represent a company. Long way to travel for this experience. Wouldn’t recommend.

Ben was excellent so friendly and informational, especially as a solo traveller. The lunch included was delicious and the cheese tasting was an unexpected treat. Saddler vineyard was my favourite - Scotty was great.

Our guide was great, the trip was well organized, lots to do in short time. I would give it 5 stars except for one of the wineries where the person serving the wine was off the mark. Otherwise a great way to spend a day tasting good white wines. This is not known as a red wine region and tasting the reds confirms this.

John our guide was very nice, however I would have liked for him to talk more about the wineries we were visiting. The first winery was Saddler Winery which was fabulous. We also went to two other “boutique” wineries which were run down properties with wines we did not like. It was sad driving by so many beautiful wineries and not stopping. We also stopped for our “guided artisan cheese tasting” which turned out to be 5 crackers placed on a board with a soft cheese spread. We ended the day with a chocolate tasting at what turned out to be a little shop with bags of pre wrapped candies in little cellophane bags. I have no idea why we stopped there it had nothing to do with wine. But on the plus side we didn’t have to stop at another “boutique” winery. I do not recommend this tour. Go on your own or with a tour that gives you some options.

We had a wonderful day with Raphael on the trip to the Hunter Valley wine region. Raphael was a good guide having a good mixture of information, history and humor. The three wineries were a joy to visit. They were small boutique wineries with good wines and excellent hosts. Overall, it was a great day out!

Nice to be in a smaller group tour. Easy traveling with well planned logistics and a blended selection of wineries; all lovely. Just the right amount of time to learn about the wines and enjoy the experiences.

A outstanding trip! Raphael did an excellent job as our tour guide! The pre-trip communication was good, pick up was right on time. Raphael did a great job communicating with the group, setting expectations, and providing interesting information without overdoing it. The 3 boutique wineries visited (Saddler’s Creek, Hanging Tree, and Ernest Hill) all had a broad selection of wine varietals and lovely owners/employees. The lunch and cheese tasting were equally delicious! We saw a mob of kangaroos at Ernest Hill. Whist the winery considers them a nuisance for eating their grapes, it was a cool treat as a foreigner to get to see them! Special shoutout to Raphael. I accidentally left a few bottles of wine on the vehicle after my dropoff. Raphael called me within minutes. He went out of his way to get my wine back to me 👍👍

It was a tour in English, but I really enjoyed it. My guide Stuart told me about the various tourist attractions and Sydney life on the way around the winery, and I couldn't hear everything, but it was a good glimpse into real life. This was our first winery tour abroad, but all three (plus the cheese workshop & chocolate shop) were delicious and the lunch was very luxurious!
