What To Expect
During the ax throwing training class ax throwers are allowed to throw axes in one of two ways: 1 Hand holding the axe with the blade facing the target before release. 2 Hands holding the axe with the blade facing the target before release. No other style of throws are permitted. No throw will be thrown without a verbal or gesture signal of an Open Lane from the presiding Coach and confirmed by all throwers.

5.00My husband and I took the kids for an afternoon activity. Chatham Axes is located inside a really cool space with quick-service but local food, an ice cream shops, a cookie shop and several spots for an adult beverage, all of which you can bring to the picnic tables behind the axe throwing space. Our set up and instruction was easy and friendly and they even built a fire for us to enjoy. Our tweens really enjoyed the axe throwing experience, as did my husband and I. Chatham Axes was a great afternoon of fun for our family.
