The tour guide did not know any history of the tour and we felt we could NOT ask questions. We tried to ask one question and ridiculed for doing so. The tour guide went to sleep on the way back from our visit, and while on the tour she played on her phone and ignored us.

We had the most amazing time, Fiona was great and she helped navigate us through the most amazing sights we have ever seen and we were literally in the clouds, the infrastructure built on this mountain and the beauty of it will stay with us forever. Also listen to your tour guide people and buy the vip pass…. The lines for the tram was HUGE and we got to bypass it all and all for 300vnd each so about $12 australian

Ian is an amazing tour guide. He is very informative and was a heap of fun. His grasp of the English language is outstanding which made the day very relaxing for us , as did his sense of humour. We would highly recommend without any hesitation and all.

Very nice day trip. Nice car and driver. Our guide was very flexible and tailored the day to our interest. While the entire area is touristy it’s also beautiful and scenic.

When my partner and I planned our trip to Da Nang, everyone told us the same thing: "You have to visit Ba Na Hills." To be honest, I was a little skeptical. I had seen the famous Golden Bridge photos a thousand times on Instagram, and I worried it might be too touristy. But we decided to go, and I am so glad we did. It turned out to be one of the most unique and memorable days of our entire Vietnam holiday. Getting There and the Cable Car Ride We booked a private car to take us from our hotel in Da Nang to the cable car station, which took about 45 minutes. The moment we arrived, we could feel the temperature difference—it was already cooler up in the foothills. The journey truly begins with the cable car ride, which holds the world record for being the longest non-stop single track cable car system. And wow, what a ride! For about 20 minutes, we were gliding high above the lush jungle canopy. The views of the mountains and the distant coastline were absolutely breathtaking. It felt like we were flying. The Star of the Show: The Golden Bridge As soon as we exited the cable car, we made a beeline for the Golden Bridge (Cau Vang). Even though we got there relatively early, it was already busy, and I can see why. The structure is pure genius. Those two giant, moss-covered stone hands emerging from the mountainside to hold up the shimmering golden ribbon of a bridge are a sight to behold. Walking across it, with the mist swirling around the hands and the jungle below, felt surreal. Yes, you have to be patient to get a photo without too many people in the background, but it is an absolute must-do. It’s a photographer's paradise. A Whirlwind of Architectural Styles One of the most surprising things about Ba Na Hills is how it changes as you explore. After the natural beauty of the bridge, we walked through the French Village. It felt like we had been teleported to a charming town in Europe. There are colorful squares, a majestic cathedral, old-fashioned shops, and cobblestone streets. It’s a little bit of Disneyland, a little bit of France, and totally fun to wander around. We spent a good hour just exploring the different corners, pretending we were in the French countryside. For something completely different, we visited the Linh Ung Pagoda. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, this peaceful Buddhist temple complex was a serene escape. The massive white Buddha statue stands tall and calm, offering a beautiful contrast to the European architecture just a short walk away. It was a lovely spot to take a deep breath and enjoy the quiet. Food and Final Thoughts We had lunch at one of the many buffet restaurants in the French Village. The selection was huge, with everything from Vietnamese pho and spring rolls to sushi, pasta, and Western dishes. It was decent quality and very convenient, though it can get incredibly crowded around noon. I’d recommend eating a little earlier or later than the peak time if you can. Is Ba Na Hills touristy? Yes, absolutely. But is it worth it? 100% yes. It’s a fantastical, man-made wonderland that offers incredible views, unique photo opportunities, and a fun escape from the city heat (the weather up there is so pleasant!). It’s not really a place to experience authentic Vietnamese culture, but that’s not its purpose. Its purpose is to amaze and entertain, and it does that brilliantly.

An unique experience. Do nu miss, otherwise you will have big regrets. Stunning views from 1535 mtrs above the sea level. Try to enjoy passing Golden Bridge, drink an artizanal beer, listen the wind on the pagodas on the top of the mountain, and much more..

I had sent a request inquiring about the tour and it was answered quickly with detailed information, Ms Jang was quite helpful.. Prior to arriving had other questions that also were answered in a timely way. The night before we arrived I received a text (through what's app) letting me know that our guide (Tuan but you can call him Alex) and driver would meet us at the port. We arrived and met our guide outside of the port. He had also sent a picture of where he was and the sign he was carrying. The drive was about an hour and Alex gave us some information about the area. When we arrived he guided us to the entrance got our tickets and we were able to cut the line in group tours. Went all around the area and he even took some pictures of my husband and myself. We finished up and was escorted back to our ship! It was a lovely experience & day. Thank you!

We are thankful we got a great tour guide (Mr Jun) which was very experienced and know where to go to avoid the crowds. He is attentive and make sure everyone is well taken care of. Unfortunately, the admin portion of Dacotours may need some improvements. Will be good if they issue specific invoices to our names so that we know it is legit. Also, will be good when nearer to the day trip, that they proactively reach out to us rather than the other way around.

Our tour if Ba Na Hills in Da Nang, Vietnam was wonderful.our guide Uri was very focused our what we wanted to see. She was very attentive to our needs, organized, knowledgeable, and customer focused. The activity included a gondola ride up and back the mountains. Once there, we explored thos marvelous Disney-type park. It contains a complete aurgthentic looking French Village, complete with a mock-up of tge Notra Dame Cathedral in Paris. The structure looked authentic outside and inside. There was also a complete amusement area woth carnival-type rides and games. In addition, there were real Buddha statues and temples and a beautiful flower garden.
