What To Expect
We begin before sunrise, paddling across the still, mirror-like waters of the Bacalar lagoon as the first light slowly paints the sky. Our route takes us toward the famous Canal de los Piratas — a narrow, shallow passage with crystal-clear water and soft white sand beneath your board. This historic canal was once used by pirates and traders navigating through the lagoon system, making it not just beautiful, but full of stories. As you glide inside the canal, surrounded by mangroves and silence, it feels like entering a hidden world — calm, untouched, and slightly mysterious. We continue through the canal until we reach Laguna Mariscal, a more secluded and wild part of the lagoon, far from the usual routes. Here, the water opens up again, reflecting the sky in soft colors as the sun rises. We enjoy a fresh breakfast right by the water, in complete tranquility — no crowds, just nature. You’ll have time to swim, float, or simply sit and take in the moment as the lagoon slowly wakes up around you. Afterwards, we explore the area a bit more before gently paddling back, carrying that calm energy with us. Throughout the experience, your guide captures GoPro photos

5.00The sunrise is absolutely worth waking up for—it was stunning. The paddleboarding experience was awesome and so peaceful. Ellie was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout, which made everything even better. We also had a great breakfast to top it all off. Highly recommended!

5.00Amazing sunrise paddle tour! We booked directly from the hotel and everything was super easy. Starting right in front of the hotel in the dark made it even more special paddling under the moon was incredible. The sunrise was absolutely breathtaking. Eli was a great guide always looking out for us.

5.00We had an amazing experience on the dawn paddle board tour. We went with Barsaman and Santa, and the truth was perfect. The sunrise in the lagoon is simply spectacular — the light, tranquility and energy of the place are something unique. Everything was very calm and well organized, which made the experience even more special. We definitely recommend it if you come to Bacalar. It's totally worth it!

5.00We did a coule kayak tour in the morning and it was perfect🤩🥰 the sunrise was amazing, the tour in the lagune so calm and quite, no one except us was in the water. Ellie, Jesus and Mehran were the perfect guides and so lovely. We had a fun time! The highlight was the breakfast in the water with the rising sun in the background! I would totally recommend the tour 💖
