We travelled from Hoi An to Hue for this activity which made it a very long day indeed. On arrival at the park you are given all you need including waterproof ponchos and snacks and water in a waterproof bag. Then into a minibus and to the top of the mountain which took 30 minutes up some extremely twisty road. At the top we would have had amazing views were it not for the fog, but as it was we felt like we were in the clouds at 1400m high. We saw the remnants of French villas and American military posts while getting a lesson on the history of the place and spotting the local flora and fauna (including some very shy monkeys). Further down we trekked the 5 lakes stopping for lunch in between with the option of taking a dip in one of the pools before coming back to the bus for a trip back down to the entrance. The guides were both enthusiastic and friendly and both drivers very efficient indeed. We saw some beautiful sights and got some good exercise, thoroughly recommended.

The Bach Ma tour was a truly memorable experience. Our guide was not only knowledgeable but also very attentive, making the journey both informative and comfortable. Lunch was well-prepared with delicious local flavors. Along the trail, I was lucky to spot several fascinating animals in the forest, which made the trek even more special. The Do Quyen waterfall left the deepest impression.

Had a great day. Picked up on time at our Homestay and had a good drive to Bach Ma from Hue. It's quite a bit up the mountain by car. There were six of us in total. Our family, yet another traveler and our guide Long. The walk to the 5 lakes is quite challenging here and there. Climbing and scrambling but to do. Also for our children aged 10 and 13. Wouldn't book it with younger kids so quickly. The temperature while hiking was doable. Lunch was well provided and we were able to swim at one of the waterfalls. Really cold water. Wonderfully refreshing in hot Vietnam. Nature is beautiful there.

This tour was awesome! I went solo and was staying in Da Nang. I wanted to see the mountains in Vietnam with hiking and got so much more on this tour! The tour had 3 parts, short hike to summit, hike down 5 lakes (swim under a waterfall), and see a huge waterfall (with purchase option to Zipline). The tour guide, Linh, was super friendly and professional, providing a guide all the way through. She gave us history and tips about the park, and helped everyone navigate parts of the challenging technical terrain. In the tour group, we had 2 family groups with children/teens and another solo traveler besides me, so the entire tour group was quite varied. All were able to do the different hikes. You do have to be in reasonable fitness to do the hikes and not have any mobility issues. Overall I'd highly recommend this, great tour!
