Upon arrival at Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), you will be welcomed by your attentive driver at the arrival gate with a signboard with your name on it. You will then be transported to your hotel or private residence in Ubud (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes away) in a private air-conditioned minivan accommodating up to 4 people with maximum 5 luggage

What To Expect
Receive great first impressions when you arrive in Bali. Your driver will provide a warm, friendly welcome before escorting you safely to your accommodation. Upon arrival at approximately 1 hour 30 minutes away) you will be welcomed by your attentive driver at the arrival gate with a signboard with your name on it. Your driver will be standing at the front making your driver easy to find. They will help you to skip through the crowds at the airport and out to your waiting, private air-conditioned minivan. You will then be transported to your hotel or private residence in Ubud (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes away). Your private air-conditioned minivan accommodates up to 4 people with maximum 5 luggage. Your friendly driver will be happy to answer any questions you may have about Bali on your journey.

5.00Wayan was INCREDIBLE! My travel advisor booked him complimentary for me. He had a sign up with my name when I arrived at the airport on March 4th so I knew it was him. His English is very good and he helped me with my luggage. He even offered water which was a nice touch. What I appreciated most was his explanation of the currency (Indonesian Rupiah), which was quite confusing for me at first. This is how I knew I was taken advantage of by a bell-person at the airport before I even made contact with him. When I tried to tip him after my trip, he was super humble and at first didn't accept, but I insisted his service was so good that if I could mistakenly tip a bell-person about $20 USD, I should be able to tip him and then he finally accepted. As a result of having such a great experience, I booked him 3 more times during my 5 week stay in Bali, each time for the same affordable rate. He took me from Ubud to Canggu, Canguu back to Ubud and then finally from Ubud back to the airport. What I loved was his timeliness. I was never waiting on him, he always arrived early and was waiting on me. When he was unable to offer the service himself, his son stepped in and did an equally wonderful job. His son went out of his way to inform me post-trip about where I can watch the Ogoh-Ogoh parade, which is a huge celebration in Balinese culture before Nyepi (National Day of Silence). I appreciated that so much and took his advice. Seeing the parade was definitely a highlight of my trip. If you are in need of transportation in Bali that is comfortable (well-working A.C. which is golden in Bali), great customer service and educational, I would highly recommend you book Wayan.

5.00We booked for 3 private trips, first from the airport to Ubud late at night, then from Ubud to Pemuteran, then from Pemuteran to Sanur Beach. The communication was excellent and very responsive. Our driver was Wayan Sukawadi and we were so happy with him. Wayan was friendly, knowledgeable about everything to do with Bali, sharing lots of information about the culture and the best places to visit (including places with less tourists). He was also a very safe driver, which we really appreciated having never experienced Bali traffic before. We particularly loved our trip from Ubud to Pemuteran, Wayan stopped to show us many beautiful sights as we drove up and over the mountains. I'd definitely use the service again and will recommend to all my friends and family.

Prior to the trip a suggested itinerary was given to help us narrow down what we wanted to do as this was our first trip to Bali. We’ve learned so much about the Balinese culture, religion, and ways of life because of Wayan. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. 5.00Everything worked out wonderfully. The car was spacious and clean, the driver was very friendly and courteous. We were able to stop at several stations, leave our suitcases comfortably in the car and finally arrived at the airport on time.

5.00As a female solo traveler to Bali who was going to embark on several long-distance drives I wanted a driver who came recommended by friends I trusted. 2 different friends recommended Wayan and since I first met him about a year ago I have hired him for the additional 5 trips (and several car rides) I made to Bali after, recommended him to my friends who were going on holiday, and sent him on work-related assignments to fetch my business partners from the airport etc. First and foremost he is a non-smoker, and always presents himself well. He is not only timely, he is often early. He is communicative over WhatsApp so our trips are always well planned in advance, but yet he is fluid in his approach which means even when unforeseen circumstances come our way he is willing to ebb and flow with my plans. He speaks good English, which not only makes for good conversation during long-haul rides but he helps me to interpret when it comes to dealing with the locals, if I am ever caught in a situation where I need help. Wayan is always polite, and as a female solo traveler, he has always made me feel safe around him. He not only looks after my valuables, on the occasions where I have fallen asleep in the car ride, he is always conscientious not to take phone calls or text with sound alerts so I can rest. Wayan is patient and calm, so even when the Bali traffic conditions get the best of everyone, he is able to regulate his energy so the journey is peaceful. He is extremely helpful, when I needed help to top up my phone credit he will wholeheartedly assist, bless him. There was 1 occasion where he had dropped me off but felt unwell and so he sent his son to pick me up after I had agreed to the swap. During the return journey, he called his son to make sure we found each other, and even texted me to make sure I got home safely to my hotel. He goes above and beyond as a driver, and has become a trusted carer for my wellbeing as well. During one of my trips I asked if I could leave my heavy luggage with him for 10 days and he so graciously brought it home, but also brought it back when he picked me up from my return trip. He is always on top of logistics, especially when I travel with a lot of cargo for my work. On 2 occasions he was pre-booked by another client and he directed my booking to his brother in law, and even so, he always checks in to see if I am ok, and will plan our pick up times for the airport in consideration of customs and traffic. With Wayan's expert planning, I am always on time. Thank you so much Wayan for your friendship and help whenever I am in Bali.

5.00We booked Bali Ari Tours for multiple days and they are reliable and trustworthy. We had a large group of people (~20) and they were on time and flexible with our itineraries. Communications were timely and open via WhatsApp. On our way to the airport, we accidentally left our phone in the car and Wayan was kind enough to inform us and ship it to us. We definitely recommend them for your stay in Bali.
