What To Expect

Embark on a private boat trip with our experienced skippers. Your exclusive adventure begins at the stunning Balos Lagoon. We need 30 minutes to get there. Dive into its crystal-clear waters, snorkel, or relax on the boat and enjoy the magic scenery. You will have the opportunity to go to the beach, since we will come enough close to the shore and drop you off, without needing to swim a lot. Enjoy the lagoon at your own leisure for around two hours. Then, we will travel for 10 minutes to reach picturesque Gramvousa Island. There, we will stay one hour and you will have the chance to hike, explore the fortress, and take some breathtaking panoramic views. While making unforgettable memories, taste some delicious Cretan flavors, that we prepared for you and drink refreshing drinks. Next, we need 15 minutes to visit Agios Sozon, a place where the serene atmosphere captivates us and the wild nature gives peace to the soul. The pristine, crystalline waters make it an ideal location for swimming. We will spend approximately 50 minutes there, reveling in its natural beauty and tranquility. Our wonderful cruise will come to an end with a 15-minute trip back to the place where we started.

10/10 JUST BOOK!!!! We were staying closer to Chania and so glad we drove down to Kissamos port for this trip. Our skipper got us to Balos lagoon super speedy so we got to see it all before the crowds came him. He was AMAZING with our children (both 5 years old) and we all had the best time. Super helpful when booking as well. GREAT SERVICE all round. Thank you guys x

We took a private boat tour with 4 adults and 4 children and were absolutely delighted! The route took us to Balos and then to Gramvousa – both destinations are fantastically beautiful. On board there were drinks and delicious wraps, all included in the price. Contact with Konstantinos in advance was very friendly and straightforward. On site our skipper Alex welcomed us warmly. He took great care of us, was super nice and made the ride a real experience – we had a lot of fun! Overall, an all-round successful excursion that we can only recommend. Thank you for this unforgettable day!

An Unforgettable Chania Sea Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had the most amazing time with Chania Sea Experience! Our first trip was a boat ride to Balos, and it was absolutely incredible — stunning scenery, great drinks and food, and the most wonderful guide, Alexis. He was so kind and friendly, making the trip even more special. The kids loved it so much that they insisted we book another adventure just two days later! Our second trip took us to a different set of breathtaking beaches and lagoons near Chania, and it was just as magical. Kostas and Alex were amazing hosts — warm, welcoming, and so accommodating. Both tours were unforgettable, and we can’t recommend Chania Sea Experience enough. If you’re in Crete, don’t miss this!

We went with seven people on the Chania Sea Experience and wow, what an experience! Excellent service from the moment we got in touch until we stepped off the boat! We had a fantastic captain who took us along in a safe way. We got to stop and swim in unforgettable spots with crystal clear blue water! If you’re going to take ONE boat trip, take this one — it’s an experience!

Superb ride aboard our speed boat! Alex was super cool with us! The spots are beautiful and above all we arrive at the main places before the charters which dump far too many people! Take shoes to climb Gramvousa , it warms the thighs but it's worth it! Otherwise on board, drinks available and a sandwich wrap as a snack! Beautiful day that I recommend

We had an amazing time, the kids loved it you really experience the sea and the beautiful surroundings, and the grilled fish and Greek salad was delicious and served on the beautiful island of Gramvousa which has an amazing castle at the top of the hill with stunning views. Konstantinos and Alex the skipper were very professional and friendly.

My husband and I had an unforgettable private boat tour to Balos, Gramvousa, and a hidden swimming spot that felt like our own secret paradise. We arrived early, before any crowds, and had the stunning island of Gramvousa and its Venetian fortress entirely to ourselves. Our captain, Alex, was incredible. He was warm, professional, and clearly experienced. His calm presence and expert navigation made the whole trip feel effortless and relaxing. He shared interesting facts along the way and made sure we were comfortable at every moment. The water was the most vibrant blue we’ve ever seen, and the chance to swim directly to the beaches and explore freely made the day feel even more special. Balos was breathtaking, and getting to enjoy it from the water, far from the usual crowds, made it even more memorable. This was easily one of our favorite days in Crete. If you’re looking for a private, peaceful, and stunning way to explore the coast of Chania, this is the way to do it. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a boat ride in the area , this is a must, no hidden extras like the others try and charge you . Yannis the skipper was great, told us some interesting history about the places/areas. We had an early trip which he said is the best as we missed all the big boat tours before they came in . The chicken wraps were lovely and the beer and water were readily available. 10/10
