This personalized half-day excursion provides hassle-free, round-trip transport in an air-conditioned minivan and visits Jamaica's horse back and Bamboo Rafting. The horse back riding takes you on a nature trail where you get to see the countryside and ends out in the Ocean where you get to ride the horse in the Ocean. After a scenic drive, Learn about the history and ecology of the area from your local guide. Round-trip transportation from Ocho Rios hotels is included. If your hotels is not listed you are possible out of the pickup zone. We still pickup but might include additional charges.
Then on to Bamboo Rafting through our forest whiling listening to the tranquilizing sounds of nature while your guide entertain you.

4.00First the horseback riding. They take you to a dirt beach (trash) to ride and they won't let you just ride you have to follow the horse in front of you in a line. You can't trot or run your horse. The water we rode in had horse poop floating in it. Also the horses looked quite skinny. I feel this part of the excursion needs to improve. The rafting was okay, The guides did a good job. The only thing is halfway they stop at a spot along the river and there are venders trying to sell you stuff and they are very pushy. I feel we could have passed on the stop and high pressure sales people..

3.00First of all it was a 2 1/2 hr ride to the first destination. We were not aware how long it would be. Our driver Tyrone was very accommodating and gave us great information about Jamaica, the geography, history and landmarks! Bamboo raft ride was nice except for being blindsided by stopping to deal with vendors and panhandlers half way through. The Captain of the raft did a nice job pointing out wildlife. Horseback riding was ok. Guides were very nice and knowledgeable. Tranquility of ride on the beach disrupted by 4 wheelers! Otherwise nice ride but short.
