Great views of Banff! Wow Canada is so beautiful! The Gondola ride line ups were a bit long but the ride was smooth and fast. Views at the top were wonderful.

The Banff Gondola was an unforgettable experience! The ride up was smooth and offered stunning views of the Rockies. Once at the top, the 360° panoramic view was absolutely breathtaking. We walked the boardwalk to the historic weather station—short, easy, and super scenic. It was a bit crowded, so I’d recommend going early or late in the day. Also, it gets chilly at the summit, so bring a jacket. The Sky Bistro looked great, though a bit pricey. Tip: Pre-book tickets, wear layers, and don’t rush—take your time enjoying the view.

It was our first time to Banff and this is one of the highly recommended experiences. I was so glad I booked our tickets early through Viator because they sell out quickly. We were able to catch a bus from town with our prepurchased tickets. The parking lot stays full up there, but we did notice a few empty spots in the upper lot for the hot springs. The good: the view from the top of the mountain is great. The bad: This is very touristy with tons of people. You have a certain time you can ride the gondola up, so we had to wait quite a while because we’d taken the bus up and didn’t want to be late. Then you choose a return time. The employee suggested an hour so we did that. That was way too long for us. If you don’t plan to eat in one of the restaurants, there’s not really anything to do that long. There is a kind of interactive museum type thing on the second floor, I guess geared toward children. I’m glad we did it, but honestly I wouldn’t do it again. Spend your money getting to Moraine Lake. It’s well worth it!

If there is limited parking , people should be made aware , not show up for up for a paid for ride and have to have issues with parking , tell your patrons to leave after their ride not hang around in the parking lot , also tell your patrons how early they need to show up for their ride , and where to get tickets pricessed .. You pay enough money and the organization around traffic flow is poor . Figure out the logistics of moving mass amounts of people through your offering . It’s about perfecting the experience from the start . Not impressing with experience showing up to the facility .
