The gondola ride was amazing and allowed you to see the breath-taking views. The walk at the summit was beautiful and so peaceful and calming. The food at Northern Alpine restaurant was amazing, service was amazing and the view was stunning.

Not worth the money. Very crowded , nothing but lines and barely any space when you get to the top. I prepaid for. Specific time. What a joke. We had to line up with everyone else if you have a specific time allocated for you there should be. Separate priority line - didn’t happen so pointless. Would not recommend, views are just as good anywhere in the Rockies.

Easy to find the bus and get to the gondola. Once at the gondola, we exchanged our vouchers for tickets, everyone helpful, no problems. Wonderful views at the top, we walked the boardwalk, which was easy. Brilliant day

The view is breathtaking, and I highly recommend visiting Banff if you’re traveling there. The transportation system is also quite easy to navigate.

My tour was cancelled 24 hours prior to my Gondola tour. I asked to only switch the date of my Gondola tour as my other Viator tour was cancelled with less than 24 hours. Viator repeatedly refused to change the date nor refund my money. I will never use Viator again; HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!

We didn’t get to go because of the weather. We were not prepared for the drops in temps and did not bring heavy winter gear so we couldn’t go.

In May 2026 all was fine. Line ups move quickly, ride has great views. The ride back down equally great, no line ups. However, I do not appreciate their no refunds policy, this is the second time I paid for this. My guests got caught in last August Air Canada strike. No response to any email asking for a rain check. Absolutely could care less about my friends and I, in a predicament entirely outside our control. It is kind of a catch 22, you have to buy tickets early due to potential lineups and crowding but if you do, all the risk is yours.
