What To Expect
Banff Gondola
Step into an iconic 4-person gondola cabin with expansive windows and enjoy a smooth 8-minute ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain. Along the way, take in spectacular views of the town of Banff, the Bow Valley, and six surrounding mountain ranges. At the summit, soak up 360-degree panoramic vistas. Explore the summit at your own pace with access to scenic walking paths, including the Sulphur Mountain Boardwalk. This self-guided interpretive walkway leads to Sanson’s Peak and the Sulphur Mountain Cosmic Ray Station, a designated National Historic Site. When it’s time to relax, stop by Castle Mountain Coffee Co. for a drink or snack, or enjoy a full dining experience with reservations at Northern Lights Alpine Kitchen or Sky Bistro, offering elevated Canadian cuisine with unmatched views. The Banff Gondola is serviced year-round by Roam Public Transit – Route 1. Ticketed shuttles run regularly with stops along Banff Avenue. Free shuttles are available May to October.

5.00WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! You must do this unforgettable experience in the Winter!!! First off. Thank you Quinn and Gandhi. You both made my trip. I will forever remember this moment/experience for the rest of my life. I can’t stress this enough. You must try this experience. I spent 8 hours up there the first night then 4 hours in the windy wintry weather that was in the single digits. I will be back and will hope next year it has this vibe. I will say I did share with Quinn the sounds and music of this needs to be on an album. There is no question this will be sell and be so therapeutic to some of us, as I myself battle anxiety and depression. You both and the team lifted it. Please please!! Recognize these two and your team. I would love for the GM to know how amazing this event is. I work in the states in a very highly recognized hospitality industry and this shines the northern lights of customer service and experience

3.00Beautiful place, gondola line up to leave was wrapped up to the 4th floor. Way too expensive for what it was. Breathtaking, just way to expensive. $20 more per person to order here rather than onsite at the gondola.

5.00Arrive a half hour early if you like looking through gift shops. Printedd tickets are required. They will print them for you if you forgot like me! Make sure your phone is fully charged the views are stunning! Banff is always gorgeous, but this is next level!
