This is expensive, and I was skeptical, but the view at sunset was spectacular - it felt similar to seeing the Grand canyon the first time. Best on a clear day.

Everything was great besides from the voice over in the gondola. The voice was very unsettling and unnecessary. Please change it to music or allow for guests to silence it!!

The gondola was a great experience! The summit has a lot to do for kids and the views were amazing. If you’re afraid of heights, the ride up is a little intense but short.

Dress appropriately so you can make the most out of your experience. The views are absolutely incredible and the staff is beyond friendly. I would 100% do this again on another trip back to Banff.

The Banff Gondola was one of the highlights of our trip. The ride up is smooth and gives you beautiful views as you make your way to the top of Sulphur Mountain, but the real magic happens once you get there. At the summit, the views are absolutely breathtaking. You can see the surrounding mountains, the town of Banff below, and miles of incredible scenery in every direction. There are several viewing platforms and a scenic boardwalk that lets you walk further along the ridge for even more amazing views and great photo opportunities. The facilities at the top are also really nice, with areas to relax, learn about the region, and grab something to eat or drink while enjoying the view. If you’re visiting Banff, this is definitely something you shouldn’t miss. It’s such a unique experience and one of the best ways to truly appreciate how beautiful the Canadian Rockies are. Tips: Wear Ski Goggles or good sunnies it’s super bright and WINDY up at the top.

If the restaurant is fully booked online, just go arround 3 or 4 pm. It's empty. Folks book for 6 pm onwards when it's dark...useless. I went up 3 times in one week. It was worth every penny.
