กินข้าวแล้วหรือยัง - It’s the Thai way to greet a friend - its literal translation is ‘Have you eaten rice yet?!’ There's no better way to highlight the importance of eating in Thailand in this food obsessed city.
Our tour was carefully curated and will take you on a journey through the backstreets of Bangkok, mopping up a 15+ taster menu in street spots and eateries that have been serving locals for decades. We'll meet at Yaowarat to discover the rich Thai-Chinese culinary marriage that make this district one of the city's most buzzing street food spots. It's not just about the food though. It's about the people behind the plates who have dedicated their lives to cooking on the street.
Not recommended for pregnant travelers
Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller

Sorry, this tour is not suitable for vegetarians, pescatarians or no pork diets due to street vendors' limited menus. Other dietary restrictions may require some dishes to be missed.
We recommend comfortable shoes. Bring rain gear/umbrella, if rain looks likely. There's lot of tastings to try, come hungry!
*Note: Our morning departure times have the same great food and majority of the same stops as our evening tours. Due to the operating hours we use a couple of alternate stops that open during the daytime*
The tour isn't suitable for shellfish, peanut or severe allergies due to the nature of street food. Other allergies may require some dishes to be missed.

Our whole family enjoyed our tour with Rainbow and Mr. Arm. They were an excellent pair. Rainbow shared information about the dishes and chefs while Mr. Arm went ahead to the next stop. This meant the pace was better than other food tours we've done. We never felt rushed but also never felt the time was wasted. My children wish they could give this 6 stars!!!!!!

This was one of the best food tours we’ve been on. I’m now writing this review 3 months after the event. Since then I’ve done 7-8 food tours in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, China and Japan. This one is still by far still the best! Book it! Enjoy!

Amazing food and expertise. Could not recommend higher. Just make sure you bring an empty stomach. Rainbow and Mr Arm were the most gracious hosts who shared their knowledge with us with enthusiasm. Definitely do it if you can.

Arriving at a crowded, hot Chinatown (and having eaten already a fair amount of thai food before the tour), I was not sure what to expect (and if I shouldn't have stayed at the pool with a cold beer instead). But from the moment I met the tour guides and the other participants, I knew that it was so worth it! We were a small group of 8 people and went to places I surely would not have found or dared to venture into and had amazing food. I learned a lot about the different dishes and my only regret was that I just could not eat more in the end. Thanks so much for this amazing tour, I warmly recommend it!

Went on this tour solo on my first full night in Bangkok. Learned about Thai and Thai-Chinese cuisine, history and culture. I had Rainbow as the tour guide along with Butter. They were both super friendly and Rainbow was super knowledgeable and great in her role. I booked this not knowing it was recommended non-suitable for non-pork eaters, I had sent them a message right after booking about my food restriction, which they responded in a timely matter and let me know about the dishes that contained traces, substitutes, etc and if I wanted to cancel. Regardless of knowing I would have less dishes I still did the tour.. and I’m so glad I did! They accommodated me with a substitute on every course I couldn’t have, Rainbow also gave me a description of every dish I had which I thought was very thoughtful. Even though I was expecting less, and ended up receiving the same amount, I 100% would do this tour again and recommend it to other travelers.

Took us to areas of the city we would not have ventured to on our own. Ate food we would not have known to order. Guide was personable and provided a lot of insight into Thai food culture.

This was a great tour! First, Tac and Muay were phenomenal. They were kind, helpful, knowledgeable and well prepared. The tour takes you to places outside of main Chinatown for much of it, which is a major plus if you don’t do crowds well. Next, the food. It was great! You get a variety and it’s a lot! Come hungry, you won’t be disappointed. Finally the planning is well done. They scout ahead to make sure there is space to sit and food is ready. They have napkins and water on replen should you need it. They are knowledgeable and informative about the food, history, and culture of the areas you visit and food you taste. Best food tour I’ve been on to date.
