กินข้าวแล้วหรือยัง - It’s the Thai way to greet a friend - its literal translation is ‘Have you eaten rice yet?!’ There's no better way to highlight the importance of eating in Thailand in this food obsessed city.
Our tour was carefully curated and will take you on a journey through the backstreets of Bangkok, mopping up a 15+ taster menu in street spots and eateries that have been serving locals for decades. We'll meet at Yaowarat to discover the rich Thai-Chinese culinary marriage that make this district one of the city's most buzzing street food spots. It's not just about the food though. It's about the people behind the plates who have dedicated their lives to cooking on the street.

Extraordinary. Sublime. Superb. The food was uniformly great ... and copious beyond belief. Come hungry and pace yourself. And our guide, Ploy, was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable about so much ... the food we were eating, the owners and history of each place, the role of ingredients in Thai cuisine, and Thai history and culture. We learned, we ate, we enjoyed. Best food tour I've taken.

Great experience all around. Our tour guide, Tao, gave great information regarding Thai people and the communities within it. This was key to understanding the large selection of foods we tried and how/why they varied.

The overall experience was fantastic! Sally was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything very thoroughly. King was super helpful and had hand sanitizer or hand wipes for every place we stopped and ate it. I thought I came with an empty stomach but it wasn’t enough! So much food that I would never try on my own was presented. Would totally recommend to all ages to book this tour!

My husband and I did the 11:15 am food tour with Rainbow and Noah, and it was absolutely fantastic! I’d definitely recommend this time slot, and a tip: don’t eat breakfast beforehand, because you’ll be trying around 15 different dishes! Our guide Noah was brilliant, full of energy, incredibly friendly, and happy to answer every question we had. She took us to spots we’d never have found on our own, each offering something unique and delicious. We loved getting to experience such a wide variety of flavours and local dishes throughout Chinatown. Rainbow was brilliant too, running ahead to each restaurant to make sure the food was ready so the trip ran smoothly. If you’re a food lover or just want to discover the hidden gems locals enjoy, this tour is a must!

Excellent trip with our very well informed guide Nood who was shared not only the details about the food, but also the backstories of the chefs / restaurants. Tiem , the second guide, was always ahead of us arranging the table and the orders. The tour group was small and made for a friendly environment to enjoy the food in. While we went to 8-9 places, not a lot of walking was involved. There were definitely places we, as tourists, wouldn’t have come across and that would have been a big miss! Very inspired to try more Thai food and cook some as well.

Great way to experience Chinatown and try a wide variety of Thai foods. The highlights were really good—especially the green curry, chicken satay, soups and Soy- ice cream! A few items weren’t our favorites, but that’s part of trying something new. There’s quite a bit of walking, so we were glad we did the tour in the late afternoon before Chinatown became crowded. Noah did a great job securing tables at every stop and made sure we had plenty of dishes to try and share!

This was a truly unique way of getting to know the different foods and tastes of Bangkok. If you’re lucky enough to be lead by Tack and Ninja you are in for a treat… I would skip lunch. You won’t go home hungry!
