กินข้าวแล้วหรือยัง - It’s the Thai way to greet a friend - its literal translation is ‘Have you eaten rice yet?!’ There's no better way to highlight the importance of eating in Thailand in this food obsessed city.
Our tour was carefully curated and will take you on a journey through the backstreets of Bangkok, mopping up a 15+ taster menu in street spots and eateries that have been serving locals for decades. We'll meet at Yaowarat to discover the rich Thai-Chinese culinary marriage that make this district one of the city's most buzzing street food spots. It's not just about the food though. It's about the people behind the plates who have dedicated their lives to cooking on the street.
Not recommended for pregnant travelers
Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller

Sorry, this tour is not suitable for vegetarians, pescatarians or no pork diets due to street vendors' limited menus. Other dietary restrictions may require some dishes to be missed.
We recommend comfortable shoes. Bring rain gear/umbrella, if rain looks likely. There's lot of tastings to try, come hungry!
*Note: Our morning departure times have the same great food and majority of the same stops as our evening tours. Due to the operating hours we use a couple of alternate stops that open during the daytime*
The tour isn't suitable for shellfish, peanut or severe allergies due to the nature of street food. Other allergies may require some dishes to be missed.

Chinatown / Yaowarat
Our feasting tour of 15+ tastings invites guests on a culinary adventure around the backstreets of Bangkok. We're Bangkok's #1 food tour on TripAdvisor. Over 20,000 guests can't be wrong. Here's an honest appraisal for the tour so no-one is disappointed: ✘ Unsuitable for strict vegetarians, pescatarians and no-pork diets, due to limited alternatives at some vendors. ✘ Unsuitable for severe allergies, halal & celiac disease, due to risk of traces & cross-contamination. ✔ Suitable for lactose intolerances. Chinatown - Bangkok
Many are unaware of China's centuries-long influence on Thailand that has permeated much of Thai cuisine. From noodles to stir-fry, it's time to feast on the history of this culinary marriage. In small groups of up to 8 exclusive guests, our passionate foodie guides take you on a journey around the alleyways of Yaowarat, Bangkok's Chinatown. We don't want to spoil the surprises, but prepare to drool over crispy chive dumplings with nam jim jaew sauce, mop up rich satay with charcoal-grilled chicken, work chopsticks over slow-braised pork, and delve into fragrant steamy bowls of shrimp dumplings and poh taek seafood soup, along with a dozen more lip-smackingly good tastings at places you'd struggle to find alone.

We had a wonderful experience with our guide, Ploy. We wandered in and around alleys and streets, trying SO MUCH delicious food, and Ploy took great care of us. She explained about all the different food we ate, and her English language was easy to understand. We would recommend Ploy as a guide for anyone!

Really amazing evening spent traipsing through Chinatown. While you won’t find your basic pad Thais and spring rolls on this tour, you will experience the cuisines that influence so much of BKK’s food scene. Couple that with some great narration and access to places we wouldn’t find on our own and you’ve got yourself an awesome night out.

It was the first thing we did when arriving to Bangkok. It was a good way to see the back streets of Chinatown.

We had a wonderful, joyful and delicious good tour with 15 tasty meals, all of them worth trying. The tour was superbly organized, our guides were amazing and we learnt a lot. It was really a good decision to do this tour, I can highly recommend it. One tip: although all meals are excellent, try to avoid eating too much at the beginning, there is for sure more to come. Our belly was totally full at the end of the tour. 😂👍

Great / organized tour to get the experience and background on a variety of Bangkok's China Town backstreet's foods and the cooks. Lots of food! Pace of the tour was just right -- got to sit down several times. The guides were very personable and enthusiastic which made the tour fun!

Annie was the best guide we have ever had on a food tour. So knowledgable, enthusiastic and very funny. It was so good that I booked the next day again, and so did my group.

This was a fantastic tour. The communication was fantastic from the start and meeting place easy to find. Our main guide, Putpik, was friendly and engaging and our whole group learned so much from her. She was ably assisted by ‘magic’ Mikey who held our places and served the delicious food at each location. Very well organised and there was something for everyone. Could not recommend highly enough. Tour was almost four hours but very manageable … we needed the walking from place to place so we could eat at the next stop. Thank you, Putpik, (and Mikey) for a fantastic experience with a great group of people!!
