I really liked the two markets especially the train, and I wish I had been a little more free time, we only got half an hour! The float is very touristic and also wastes time with food. The bad thing is that from Bangkok you do one hour by bus and then another by train and 2 hours by bus to return. That means a long time of commuting in proportion to the activity.

Our tour guides Jenny and Knee, fabulous knowledge of the attractions I attended. Boat ride to market was good travelling down the canals and past peoples homes, very interesting. Market well that was a very different story, This out of tour guides hands to manage, the market was great, excellent vib about the market, to experience a better atmosphere the kaos of boats all through a very narrow area could be slightly managed better but i guess that's part of the desire of that market. Food was good, take cash as struggled to find ATM if needed more cash. Train at the market well if you expect to see conditions like the marketing photos you will be disappointed, its cramped with people trying to walk the tracks and stop at stalls etc then you have the train coming the sight of seeing stall holders pack up as travels past very slowly is good for a photo or two but very much different to promo's and to see stall holders reset after is fabulous. the train ride through the market where we later go off train was a very strange feeling were by you could touch people as you travel buy. An experience I would never forget and many say its very touristy, well yes it is and that helps the people of those communities/villages.

I highly recommend using a guide to visit these markets so you can make the most of your time. We started our trip around 10:00 a.m., which was perfect. First, we took a traditional boat and strolled along the canal for about 15–20 minutes before arriving at the floating market. It was full of fresh fruits, prepared food, and unique local experiences. The food was delicious and very inexpensive. Be ready to negotiate prices when shopping for souvenirs—we got some great deals. After lunch (you can choose where to eat), we took a bus to the train market. You’re free to pick the best spot to watch the train pass by, almost touching your clothes (you can actually touch it!). Afterward, we boarded the train for about 30 minutes. Our bus was then waiting to pick us up and take us back to Bangkok (MBK Mall). Our guide, Wanna, was amazing—so kind and attentive. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for her!
