Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew)
Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) Located within the grounds of the Grand Palace in Bangkok, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha is Thailand’s most sacred Buddhist temple. It houses the highly revered Emerald Buddha, a small but significant statue carved from a single piece of jade. Built in 1782, when Bangkok became the capital, the temple features intricate architecture, colorful murals, and ornate details that reflect the finest craftsmanship of the Rattanakosin era. As a spiritual and cultural landmark, it is a must-visit site for visitors seeking to experience the heart of Thai heritage and devotion.
The Grand Palace
The Grand Palace is the most iconic landmark in Bangkok and a symbol of Thailand’s rich history and culture. Built in 1782, it served as the royal residence of the Kings of Siam for over 150 years. Within its walls are impressive halls, pavilions, and courtyards, blending traditional Thai architecture with Western influences. The complex also houses the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand. Today, while no longer the royal residence, the Grand Palace remains a spiritual and ceremonial center, attracting millions of visitors from around the world.

I barely slept, but I didn’t want to miss the tour. Annie kept a comfortable pace, so it wasn’t too tiring. The Grand Palace was stunning, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha felt peaceful, and visiting the Temple of Dawn gave me a gentle wake-up boost.

I booked this mostly for my friend but I ended up liking it more than them lol. Tina was super chill and easy to talk to. Grand Palace was busy but still cool, Temple Of The Reclining Buddha felt more relaxed, and Temple Of Dawn was honestly my favorite spot.

We started at the Grand Palace and honestly I was surprised by how detailed everything was. There’s a lot to look at and it didn’t feel boring. Bee was our guide and she explained things in a really easy way. Then we went to Temple Of The Reclining Buddha and that statue is HUGE, way bigger than I thought. Ended at Temple Of Dawn which had a really nice chill vibe. Overall just a really good day.

Taking two teens to temples can be a challenge, but Bee made it fun for them. They actually liked the Reclining Buddha! Efficient, clean car, and good energy.

We had a fantastic time visiting the 'Big Three' with Patrick. He was so incredibly patient with my daughter who had a lot of questions! The Grand Palace is a masterpiece, and Patrick’s stories really brought it to life. At the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, he took the most beautiful family photos for us. Crossing to the Temple Of Dawn was a highlight for the kids. A truly professional and heartwarming service.

Annie is a total vibe! She literally knows every single 'secret' spot for photos at the Grand Palace. My feed is going to look amazing. We went to the Temple of the Reclining Buddha and the scale of it is literally insane no cap. Crossing the river to Temple Of Dawn was so fun too. Annie even helped us film a TikTok! If you want a guide who gets it, ask for her.

Patrick is amazing! He knows all the history but keeps it light and funny. The Reclining Buddha is a must, and having a private guide makes it so much better than wandering lost.
