We had 1 full day in Thailand, and coupled a day long private tour with this group tour at night. Our tour guide was Preme who took us to the best spots with amazing food! It was the perfect amount to taste everything and the whole group had a blast. Definitely recommend.

Fun tour, amazing guide. Hits a lot of locations and food types. Gives you some good ideas about places to return and spend more time if you're interested. Also includes some nice photo locations in the second half of the tour. Great tour for early in your trip to get you oriented to the city and get ideas for activities.

Great experience, great food stops along the way, all highlighted by our guide Fluck. We went to several different food stops representing different regions of Thailand food culture as well as cultural sights.

As part of our 8 day vacation to Bangkok, we decided to take this tour as it included food and a Tuk Tuk throughout the tour. Our tour guide, "Mod", met us at the meeting point earlier than the time indicated on our confirmation. Before staring the tour, she asked us a variety of questions to ensure that all the participants enjoyed the experience. Things on interest were allergies, foods that must be avoided, and the level of spice tolerable for each person. We then introduced each other as there were 8 of us from different parts of the world (USA, Belgium, and Ireland). We all hopped on to our assigned Tuk Tuk and headed out for our first stop. We rode onboard for about 15 minutes or so through many parts of Bangkok until we reached our first stop. There we sat down and got to taste three dishes that included a soup and sticky rice. There were 4 persons paired up based on the spicy level we indicated prior to starting the tour. This prevents the wasting of food that may not get eaten. The first stop was a hit with many of us and we started to look forward to the next stop. Once everyone was finished, we jumped back into the Tuk Tuk and moved out. We were like a caravan of Tuk Tuks rolling down the road. After short ride, we arrived at the second stop. This was a long time family owned restaurant serving curry. As Mod stated, this restaurant was rated as having the "Best" curry and the "Worst" curry. It all depends on the person eating the curry. We had the option of selecting either curry so that we may make our own call on best or worst. Each plate was cooked differently. The curry came with a chicken leg as the protein. The taste was very good and definitely had a slight kick of spice. After this stop, we once again hipped in to our Tuk Tuk and headed to our third stop. This stop was dubbed the secret spot as it was locate din an alleyway. The location is something that a tourist would not know of and we were fortunate to have Mod to take us there. Another family owned restaurant which has received much praise for their food offering. It was a bowl of noodles with egg cooked over hot coals in a drum. Each plate is prepared right on the spot and is fresh. We had the option to select one with a runny egg or the other fully cooked. Both dishes tasted pretty good. Finally, we went to Chinatown to get our dessert. It was sticky rice with mango of course. You can never go wrong with this dessert. Upon finishing our dessert, we were guided through the very busy area and she explained many things about what food items were offered there. We had additional dessert items and at this point, were full from all the food we had eaten. Mod then walked us to where the bugs were being sold. Some of the tour participants gave them a try but might have had some regrets afterwards. Our Tuk Tuks picked us up and we departed for the flower market. Unfortunately, it started to rain, so we decide to forego the flower market and went to have a final drink at a restaurant across the water from one of the lit up temples. By this time, the rain became a downpour. Luckily, it started to pour towards the end of our tour. We eventually ended up waiting about 30 minutes or so for the rain to subside. Mod then made contact with all of the Tuk Tuk drivers and started to get the tour participants boarded and taken to their hotels. We were the last to leave as Mod was riding on our Tuk Tuk during the tour. We left and dropped her off first before heading to our hotel. Overall, this tour was very good, informative, and Mod made it even better by being engaged, enthusiastic, thoughtful to everyone's needs. She was funny at times and provided some additional cultural lessons on Thai communications. Our Tuk Tuk driver, "B", was awesome! He provide exceptional service and ensured that we made it back to our hotel safely. Two thumbs up for Mod and B!! Definitely recommend this tour.
