At the end of the tour, you are not asked to rate the tour on site in the presence of the guide, as we have already experienced on other tours, but the good grade is honestly deserved! The tour lasts from 5.50h (you get a WhatsApp 2h in advance, which you should come earlier, so that the start at 6h really works), there is no waiting (if you are late, you have to catch up with the group at the first stop) and the tour ends at 9.30h in a rooftop bar, for which you have to cope a few floors on foot. You will be rewarded with a great view and a beer or mocktail. If you don’t like it anymore, the tuktuk driver who has been coaching you all evening will take you back to the hotel (or somewhere else, if you prefer). There are 5 stops to eat and 1 stop to drink (the bar mentioned above). You get 3x water bottles on the tour and there is the possibility to use the toilet at 4 stops. The route is done by fast tuktuk ride or you walk through the “Dragonbody” of Chinatown and the Flowermarket. Of course the food is excellent as described many times and our guide (Gimao) was not only very entertaining but also very informative and spoke excellent English. Keeping a group of 8 people together in Chinatown or at the flower market and loading them into the tuktuks in time so that no one is lost and yet there is enough time for the participants to take pictures and gust requires a lot of attention, and she has done so with flying colors. I can recommend the tour with a clear conscience!

Our guide was excellent. She was funny, personable, and had wonderful knowledge to share about Thai food and cooking. Her great sense of humor had us laughing.

Fabulous tour! We loved the drive through a variety of neighborhoods and the way a table had been provided for us at each stop. Our guide Mod did an excellent job explaining the dishes and she had a very fun sense of humor. She kept our group of around 15 people moving along on schedule so the tuk-tuks were always waiting for us. If you are concerned about spice levels, Mod was careful to speak to each chef about preferences. The tour ended with a drink at a rooftop bar with a beautiful view of Wat Arun! It was a perfect evening and a great value for the amount of food and the culture! Highly recommend this!!

This was probably one of the best food tours I’ve been on. Our guide Fluke was so awesome, he took us to the best local spots to eat. I’m still dreaming about the dishes we tried, the portions were also very generous and just when you think the tour is over, he takes you the best rooftop bar for drinks :) and the Tuktuks make you feel very VIP because you have your own tuktuk waiting for you at every pit stop and they drive you back to your hotel after the tour. (2 people per tuktuk)

It is informative about local cuisine and you get to meet other travellers. Great journey on the Tuk Tula and a fantastic end at the roof top bar opposite Wat Arun but be aware there are no lifts just stairs to get to the top…….. 5 floors up!

Amazing night food tour via tuk tuk! My wife and I had previously attended a group tour and really enjoyed it. This time we did a private halal food tour which was brilliant!! Our tour guide May was amazing! She spoke fluent English, full of great tips and tricks. Gave us loads of insight into daily life in Bangkok lots of ideas of things to do, see and visit. The tour its self was excellent stopped at multiple locations enjoyed a wide variety of authentic Thai dishes all halal. May explained history and origins of all the food. Along the way we stopped at several place to take in the sights and markets. May was able to adapt the tour as the night went on to accommodate our requests for specific items. May was delightful would suggest you as for her as your guide!! It’s a must if you are in Bangkok! Also we ended up going back to some of the restaurants again so worth booking early. Your trip.
