The Grand Palace

4.00We were picked up from our cruise destination in a timely matter and we were driven to Bangkok. Our guide was informative however there was a challenge with communication at times. I think that he did a good job overall. Thinking about the length of time we had and the length of the trip they were attentive and they really tried to make the trip as exciting and comfortable and safe for us as they could.There was a lot of walking when we visited the grand Palace that we weren’t aware of and it made for a very long day. We did really appreciate the fact that the Guide accommodated us to be able to go to the Pattaya floating market recognizing that was a customization beyond what they typically do. I would also recommend that in the future, the guide be prepared to take people to something other than a rest area to eat we wound up finding a really good restaurant however, there was the typical Taco Bell McDonald’s options that he also presented to us so we would have just like to have more local authentic Options. we did also appreciate the fact that cold water was provided to us as well as a cooling towel which was very welcome on such a hot day. We also felt the driver was very safe given all the traffic and the amount of time that we spent traveling overall, this company allowed us to be able to see very key parts of Thailand that were important to us and we greatly appreciated the accommodation. Our guide also was super attendant at the floating market even carrying our bags for us. If I could give a 4.5 I would. I would recommend them again.

3.00The guide and the driver were kind people. This is why I am leaving the three stars. They were polite and allowed us to customize the itinerary. The experience with the company was below any expectations! There was no communication to help us prepare for a pleasant day at the city. I would not suggest this tour company.

5.00From the moment we booked the communication was superb. We were met at the ship by the incredibly enthusiastic and friendly Vivi. She was amazing throughout the day. She was an encyclopaedia of information and an absolute joy. The tour itself was fascinating taking in the Palace, Temples and river trip. It really was an education and a must if you plan to visit Bangkok. Highly recommended.

5.00What a wonderful day in Bangkok! Our tour guide Alex and driver Tien gave us an amazing day. We visited several temples, visited several beautiful Buddha sites, toured the Grand Palace, took a really fun river boat ride, had lunch at a place of our choosing near the river and visited a gem factory and sales center. Tien navigated the streets with ease and Alex made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. Alex gave us choices throughout the day to keep things interesting and fun. The ride from the cruise port was about 90 minutes, a bit longer when we headed back due to traffic. But the travel time was well worth it! We would highly recommend this tour and our guide Alex and driver Tien!

5.00This was a great opportunity to see the sites in Bangkok. This was a private excursion in a minivan. It was air conditioned. The transportation was comfortable. Our guide Wewe was knowledgeable and informative. Our driver Mr. Sam certainly worked the traffic jams. All together it was a great tour. Now here’s the hard part which there is nothing you can do anything about: Be prepared for a long drive from Laem Chabang port to Bangkok and also the return drive. It took about 2 1/2 hours to get from Laem Chabang port to Bangkok. The return drive was a little less than 2 hours. Still we enjoyed our day in Bangkok.

5.00Anne was a great guide. She was waiting at the port for us and we were taken to Bangkok in an air conditioned car. All of the attractions we went to Anne was very knowledgeable on the Thai history. We had a lovely lunch, A very enjoyable day. However we did not get to the Grand Palace or the Emerald Buddha due to closures and the company did not offer any alternatives this was disappointing.

5.00Our guide (Jhon, not sure on spelling) and the driver were early to meet us at the port. We were in the car over 4hr to Bangkok and the AC was very appreciated! Our ship changed the port to Laem Chabang from Bangkok and we knew we had to get there! We spend over 5hrs visiting temples, Grand palace, enjoying a long tailed boat ride and local lunch. It was very hot.. and you must cover your knees and shoulders… yikes. They did have cold water but recommend extra SPF, hats, umbrella etc. I also had another request to stop by 7Eleven and guide made it happen, would recommend! lol overall great day!!! Thank you!!

5.00Alex and his driver are terrific. Great communication before the tour, we were picked up at our ship, and provided water in the large air-conditioned van for the 2.5 hour drive to Bangkok. Alex gave us fantastic guided tours of The Grand Palace and all the amazing Wats we saw. The ride on the long trail boat gave us many views of Bangkok. The included lunch was tasty. The day was very hot, but Alex provided us with cold towels and water for the drive home and took good care of us throughout the trip.
