Basilica de la Sagrada Familia

Construction of La Sagrada Familia began in 1882 and continues to this day, standing as one of the world’s most extraordinary architectural achievements. Blending neo-Gothic elements with Gaudí’s visionary design, the basilica is dedicated to the Holy Family and renowned for its three grand façades — the Nativity, the Passion, and the Glory — each portraying moments from the life of Jesus. Olga E was the best! Energetic and amazing. She moves fast faster than a Tasmanian devil! We loved her tour. It was amazingly warm and funny but it’s hard to keep up with her. She’s fast. The girl is fast, but we loved it.

Giovanna genuinely made this one of the most memorable parts of our trip. From the very beginning, she felt less like a tour guide and more like someone we were lucky enough to explore Barcelona with. Her knowledge of Gaudí’s architecture is incredible, but what really stayed with me was how she shared it—full of passion, stories, and little details that made everything feel alive and personal. I especially appreciated how she picked up on what we were interested in and then suggested other places and experiences around Barcelona that we would love. It’s rare to come across someone who cares this much about the people they’re guiding. Giovanna was truly outstanding—not just for her knowledge, but for the warmth and attention she brought to the entire experience. If we had more time we would have booked another tour with her!
