This cooking class is designed for those who want to learn about the Spanish gastronomy setting their culinary creativity free. Our state of the art kitchens overviewing Las Ramblas - Barcelona's most famous street- are the ideal location for an intimate atmosphere. All our classes are designed for every skill level and are taught by professionally trained bilingual chefs. The classes provide a fun, social, hands-on experience, where you will be participating in the preparation of the various dishes under the thoughtful guidance of our chef instructors. Unlimited wines are included. All our menus change according seasonal products, and can be adapted to accommodate any food restriction you may have, vegan included.

Welcome to Barcelona Cooking where you are the chef! We offer hands-on recreational cooking classes overviewing Las Ramblas that are relaxed, authentic, fun, educational, and social. In our classes you will learn how to prepare authentic Spanish dishes like paella, tapas, soups, desserts, and more, all while meeting new friends from around the world. The classes are designed for cooks of all levels; beginners to professionals. A great activity for singles, couples, groups, or families! One thing is for sure: we are certain that spending time with us here at Barcelona Cooking will be one of the highlights of your trip!

Very good experience. We had a small group of 6 people in this class. 3 couples. One from California, one from Texas and us from Kentucky. It was a great evening. Johan was very good in shoeing us how to make a 4 course meal.

Great stuff, so so fun! Juan made the class great. We had so so much fun and the paella was delicious, the tortilla was amazing, and the vibes were great the whole time. Lovely memories!

“Juan-tastic” experience with Barcelona Cooking. My wife and I took a paella cooking class with Juan at Barcelona cooking. He is a Juan-derful person, professional chef, excellent humor, and a phenomenal instructor. All of the ingredients for our meal were fresh and laid out in front of the stations we cooked. We made a gorgeous butternut squash soup, Spanish tortilla, tomato & olive oil bread, chicken paella, and crema de Catalan! Everything was amazing, including the white and red wine that flowed unlimited. The best meal we’ve ever had in our lives (and my wife is a professional baker). The night was very special and Juan was fantastic, a new lifelong friend. A night and meal we will never forget. We highly recommend Barcelona Cooking for anyone looking for a memorable evening in Barcelona. It was a great way to experience the culture of this city. We will do this again on our next visit to Barcelona.

This was such a fun experience! We aren’t technical cooks and they made it very easy for us. It was a small group (2 couples) and Yohannes was very interactive and great. Will recommend!

We had a great experience cooking an interactive 4 course meal. The chef walked us through prep, knife skills and finishing. The chef is passionate about food. Great food, good fun and Wine! A must do.

Our family had a great time at Barcelona Cooking school! The recipes were delicious and easy to follow, and we have already made some of them at home. The class was very enjoyable and our Chef was lovely and helped us all get to know each other and interact. I would recommend this experience to anyone in Barcelona. As a family with a younger kid, this experience also helped introduce him to new foods that he then ate out and about on our travels.
