Welcome to our culinary journey, starting at Plaça de Ramon Berenguer el Gran! Our guide will make introductions, setting the stage for an exciting exploration of Barcelona's rich culinary scene.
Catedral de Barcelona
Located at the heart of the Gothic Quarter, the Catedral de la Santa Creu i Santa Eulàlia is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture that took six centuries to complete. While its facade is famously ornate and neo-Gothic, the interior is a cavernous space of high vaulted ceilings and stunning 14th-century stained glass. Its most charming secret is the secluded cloister, home to thirteen white geese, a living tribute to Saint Eulàlia, the city’s co-patron saint, who was martyred at the age of thirteen. A great monument to visit on your trip to Barcelona and a nice way to start your food tour !

We had a fabulous time with Miguel on this walking and tasting tour with a beautiful paella for dinner at the end. Every stop was fantastic and Miguel was a great host. It was an awesome group of people, we all got on so well together, like we had known each other for years. The places Miguel chose were outstanding.

Muriel, our guide, is passionate about sharing her city with visitors. We stopped at an old family bakery, a shop that roasted nuts and coffee, had tasty toast and finished with some amazing paella. The tour was a full 3 hrs and a lot of history was woven into the walk between stops. I recommend doing this tour when you first arrive in Barcelona. You will learn about key places to visit during your stay.

Every time I travel I always try to do a food tour and I would definitely recommend this one. There were 4 stops for the food tour and definitely a great amount of food for the price; we left very full! We got to try popular dishes like paella, as well as some “secret” dishes that were delicious. Our guide, Jordí, was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all the questions we had. Plan to arrive early and don’t cut it close; we were 2 minutes late due to navigating the subway, and we almost missed the tour!

Miguel was a wonderful guide and we enjoyed the entire experience. It was obvious from the welcome Miguel received at each location that he is a very well regarded guide. All of the drinks and snacks were tasty and we enjoyed the neighborhoods we visited on the tour. It was a really great orientation to Barcelona.
