The visit was very interesting and fun thanks to the guide Chiara who led us along a 2-hour itinerary full of explanations also very detailed and in-depth. Chiara, an archaeologist, was able to lead us through the alleys of the old Bari and the imposing monuments, between jokes and a fluent exhibition that made the experience very pleasant and interesting. The tour really offers the opportunity to learn about the historical and cultural aspects of the old Bari, but also to live in a very colorful working class neighborhood, rich in gastronomic smells, noisy and with characters you do not easily meet. Highly recommended. It seems fair to report that all the staff at the facility that offers many services, were courteous and patient.

We loved the pasta experience. Nonna was very enthusiastic and helped everyone try and learn how to make the pasta properly. Fortunately we ate Nonna’s and it was delicious.

The walking tour of Bari with Barbara (and Valeria) was absolutely wonderful! Barbara made it so much fun and brought the city to life with her stories, passion, and local knowledge. It was such an enjoyable way to learn about her beautiful hometown — full of charm (ie shared a story about how Margherita pizza represent the Italian colours - green, white and red - and named after the queen; history, and personality. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the real Bari through the eyes of a local!

What an unbelievable experience! Learning how to make orecchiette pasta with Erica was truly one of the highlights of my trip. She was amazing — patient, fun, and so passionate about sharing her local traditions. The meal we prepared together was absolutely delicious, and the local Bari wine she offered was the perfect touch to finish it all off. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area — it’s authentic, memorable, and full of heart!

Our guide , Barbara, was fantastic. She was so knowledgeable as well as entertaining. It was great to learn about some of the history of Bari. The pasta experience was so fun. Barbara was a great interpreter and also assisted us in our quest to make the perfect orecchiette. Fun day.
