It was a really interesting and amazing winetour. We have learnt a lot about the different wines, the locals, the region… and that in just one day! 😎 It was at our last day from our holidays our Highlight! 🥳😁 Thanks to Nic, our great guide, it was an unforgetable experience. We will get back to Piemont for sure. It‘s such a nice region and we could just sniff at it! 😉

Had a tour booked with Nicola to take me around Barbaresco for one day. He met me on time at the train station in Alba and took me on a scenic drive through Barbaresco to get a feel of the area and important vineyards before we hit up our first winery. Visited 3 wineries during the tour, one in each of the main areas to get a feel for the regional differences. Excellent choices of vineyards to showcase the different approaches in winemaking and differences between vine locations. Nicola was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable of the area. He was able to pick up on what I already knew of Barbaresco had and spent time explaining new things in more depth. He is someone I would recommend equally for those newer to wine, as well as those in the industry. If I’m back in the area would definitely have Nicola take me around again! Highly recommend!

Wow, one of the best tours. Nick was so good. Picked us up on time and drove us to private wineries, not big tourist traps. Very safe driver and very informative. Had lunch at a great restaurant over looking vineyards. Food was excellent very enjoyable experience. Thanks

Nic was an amazing guide around the Barolo and Barbaresco wine regions. He picked us up directly from our apartment and took us to three small family owned wineries, each with their own history and way of wine making. All of the wine makers were very welcoming and the wines were delicious. All of the winemakers are extremely passionate about their craft and Nic is very friendly and knowledgeable about the region. Highly recommended.

Nick did an outstanding job finding excellent locations and creating a truly memorable wine-tasting experience for us. What made it even more impressive is that this was during one of the busiest times of the year—the entire wine industry was focused on Verona for the biggest wine festival. Despite that, Nick managed to arrange visits to incredible places. At every stop, the hosts were welcoming, generous with their time, and passionate about what they do. They walked us through the winemaking process, showed us their cellars, and shared personal stories about their businesses. Even though I’m not a wine connoisseur, this experience gave me a whole new appreciation for wine and the craft behind it. What stood out most was how personal everything felt. We never felt rushed—each visit felt warm, genuine, and almost like spending time with friends. By the end of the trip, it truly felt like we had made connections along the way. Nick himself was fantastic. From the start, it felt like we had known him forever. He is knowledgeable, calm, humble, and incredibly personable. He shared fascinating insights about the Piedmont region, recommended great wines, and clearly has strong relationships with the wineries we visited—which made the experience feel even more special and intimate. We also felt completely safe and comfortable with him driving us around, which is so important. The landscapes were absolutely breathtaking, and learning about the stories behind the wine labels and the unique ways these businesses operate added another layer to the experience. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone looking for a wine experience in the region—or anywhere else he may expand his business. This was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish.
