Listed are some of the wineries we visit and we have close relationships with 40 local Barossa Cellar Doors. A good day is 4 Wineries and Lunch that is Included. Wineries are selected in advance by our driver on all shared tours. We will strive to give you the best Barossa Experience.

CP Tours and Charters is ready to serve your every need where we will pick you up from your Hotel / Motel location at 8:30am and return at 5pm approx.
Tours include standard wine tasting fees from wineries and wine tasting and lunch at Lamberts Estate Winery.
Non standard wine tasting experiences are extra and not included in package. Private charters have the options of customer selected lunch venues and cellar door options.
Arrive back in Adelaide approx. 5pm.

What To Expect
Rusden Wines
We tend the vineyard by hand, and more recently as our winery has grown, we adhere to traditional methods in the cellar. Our focus is on traditional Barossa varieties and blends, however we are not afraid to give different varieties a go as Australia’s wine industry is still in its infancy. Our vineyard is in Vine Vale; our terroir is deep white sand over red clay. We believe that Vine Vale is the most versatile and consistent grape growing district on the Barossa Valley floor. Our wines have a unique character with balance and structure.
Chateau Tanunda
Château Tanunda, birthplace of the Barossa, was established in 1890 and is the site of some of the Valley’s first vines planted as well as its first winery. The majestic bluestone winery and vineyards is a living testament to the colourful history and pioneering spirit of Australia’s most famous wine region. Now, thanks to the passion and dedication of the Geber family, this iconic Barossa estate is celebrated amongst the top wineries in Australia, as it recognises 130 years of fine winemaking in 2020. With the ‘Old Vines Expressions’ and ‘The Everest’ Wines, Château Tanunda receives regular international recognition by renowned wine critics and wine shows for producing some of the best wines in the world. The signature 150 Year Old Vines 1858 Field Blend, 100 Year Old Vines Shiraz as well as The Everest Old Vine Grenache and The Everest Shiraz are treasured by wine critics, wine lovers and wine collectors alike.

5.00We had a fantastic time on the Barossa Valley Cellar Door Small Group Tour last weekend. Our driver Roy was friendly, punctual and full of great jokes, which instantly put everyone at ease and created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere throughout the day. The winery selection was excellent, and we especially enjoyed the delicious lunch at Lambert Estate. Great company, great wine and a really well-run tour — we had a wonderful time and would happily recommend this experience to others.

5.00It was a wonderful experience. We ended up with 4 couples who became friends by the end of the trip. Roy our driver and guide kept us all entertained throughout the trip. We visited 4 wineries which were all different in style and all great. On the second winery we enjoyed a very nice lunch. I highly recommend this trip if you are looking to taste some good wines and good company.

5.00I recently enjoyed an amazing trip to the Barossa Valley and had the best time! Our driver, Roy, was absolutely fantastic — funny, engaging, and incredibly informative throughout the day. He shared so much local knowledge and had everyone laughing along the way. The selection of wineries we visited was excellent, each with beautiful wines and stunning scenery. Lunch at Lamberts Estate was a real highlight too — delicious food in such a lovely setting. We also had a great small group of fellow travellers, which made the day even more enjoyable and relaxed. Highly recommend this tour for a fun, memorable Barossa experience

5.00We had a magical day visiting a series of wineries selected carefully by our knowledgeable hosts, from small, family owned to large but still unique in history and charm. Our driver threw in a tour of Adelaide as we were off a ship and had to pick up others from that city and also drove us back to the ship a different route to showcase its lovely beaches.
