What To Expect
Basel Minster
Our discovery will let you travel back in time by exploring the city of Basel and Swiss food. The guide will lead you through Swiss delights and historical events that define the city and Switzerland. Be amazed by the Munster Cathedral and the 500-year-old Roothus (Town Hall) that houses several unique paintings. Make a remarkable memory of observing the iconic Tinguely Fountain. Since Switzerland is known for its cheese, you will go beyond the usual tourist destinations in Basel to discover the process of making various kinds of Swiss cheese. Learn from a sommelier and master cheese ager to cherish the mild and strong flavors of young and aged Basel’s cheese. Try the country's pride called Gruyère AOP cheese, including other famous cheeses in Switzerland. 5.00Meeting place is not obvious. Call the office to get the exact location Excellent tasting experience at a Bakery and a private shop for cheese and chocolate tasting. Cheeses and chocolates are exceptional. Wine is not included in the price. Extra charge.

1.00Booked this tour looking forward to what it had to offer. Took the train from Colmar to spend the day, this tour was to be half of it. 15 minutes prior to tour they sent email which was not seen until 5 minutes after tour was to start. No real explanation given for cancellation but zero notice is very unprofessional. Do not give these clowns your money.

1.00The tour operator did not show up and provided no notice whatsoever. I waited over 30 minutes and attempted to contact them multiple times, with no response. This level of unreliability is unacceptable. I have requested a full refund and expect it to be honored. This was a very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

3.00The experience was fine, but the advertising is misleading. This tour is run by a cheese and chocolate shop - most of the tour is spent in the cheese and chocolate shop, with a couple of quick stops (a farmers market and a bakery) on the way there. The cheese and chocolate tastings there are very good, but the focus of the tour is on these, and less on offering a culinary overview of Basel.
