I will pick you up from the hotel in the morning at 9:00am After a short briefing, I will bring you first to visit around the city to see all of the France colonial buildings in Battambang and visit the real local market ,status of lok ta dambong kra nhoung ( The symbol of BATTAMBANG) and after that we will continue to our next destination
Wat Samrong Knong
Now we come to visit Wat samrong knong This place we will see the old Buddhist temple that was build more than 300 years ago and it used to be a prison during the pol pot regime and I will spend some time here to explain you about pol pot regime and Religion and it is possible for you to see The Well of Shadows ( killing field) you can see some skulls and bones of the victims were killed during the pol pot regime there was 10008 of peoples were killed here and after that we will taking a few hours to visit the small villages and countryside to explore the local livelihood are living around that small villages as visit the family are making bamboo sticky rice, other family are making rice paper for spring roll,family are making dry banana we are possible to test them as snacks samples on the way and after that visit the fish paste Market (Cambodia cheese) have a short walk around that small market .

Temples, Torture, A Train to Nowhere & The Batcave sans Robin

5.00Collected on time by Mr Han Houn & his trusty Tuk Tuk. We traversed the countryside visiting Temples of peace, Temples that were used as places of torture & Temples in pieces. We stopped by roadside stalls to sample sticky rice, watch how rice paper rolls & banana chips are made. Saw spectacular scenery & were enthralled with the precision of bats flying en masse from their lair. Plus experience the clackety clack of the bamboo train. A great way to spend the day. Just a tip for Mr Han to invest in a Bluetooth microphone & speaker so we could listen to all of his fascinating commentary.

5.00Great day from 8am to 3pm with Han who is a great guide and who is passionate about his country and his city. It is a pleasure to introduce you to the market (and to taste specialities;) ), small villages with their local production of rice alcohol or craft rice leaf making. A man with a touching and moving history, I can only advise you if you are looking for an authentic Battambang experience.

5.00Our day with Han was amazing. He gave us so much information on the local culture as well as his own experience as a Cambodian. Han told us about culture, religion, farming, the flora and fauna (he took us to see Flying Foxes in the day!!) along with so much more. We learnt so much on our tour and spending the day with Han was an absolute pleasure. Our day ended seeing the Killing Caves and then the Bat exodus and it was a once in a lifetime experience. I would highly recommend getting this tour, it taught us so much about Cambodias history but also the current day and Mr Han was so fun to go around and explore with. Don't miss out on this! A very very special day for us. Thank you Mr Han!

5.00Han is an excellent driver. He was very friendly, professional, and helpful. After arriving late in Batambang, he helped us get to the Bat Cave Phnom Sampov in time to see the bats. We had an amazing time, and Han's knowledge made it even better. Many thanks, 10/10, highly recommend 😁
