We had to make our own way to meet rest of group. No probs though. Bus took us out to Kranji Memorial- he was so informative and allowed us time to wander through the different headstone sections. There was no bias in his information, it was very illuminating. Then onto Changi and a quick stop outside the Prison and more information explaining what sections are more modern, then the Replica Changi Chapel - again inspiring, with a good range of history books to buy. Onto Changi Beach, then a drive back through Singapore evening rush hr - that was also great fun seeing rush hr from a different perspective

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and our guide Tan is very knowledgeable. It was more than a war history tour. We learnt a lot about Singapore's military and saw areas that we would definitely have not found on our own. I think it's important to pass this history on to younger generations and hope that it is not lost. We highly recommend this tour.

It was a good tour, but a little bit long. There was one glitch; we arrived at the pick up point and the bus to pick us up was not there. It turned out that because of heavy traffic the driver could not park but did arrive about 10 minutes late. When the driver was not there on time we telephoned the number given on the website and the person who answer asked why we were calling because they said they have nothing to do with the tour or Viator.

A very informative tour for those wanting to find out more about what happened in Singapore during WW2. The guide was very knowledgeable. Very in-depth details at the sites visited, the Commonwealth War Graves, Changi Museum and Changi Beach. Having some prior knowledge and interest of war in the Pacific was beneficial to us, but the tour would also be good for those with little knowledge and wanting to find out more. Both my husband and I did find the guide difficult to understand in the beginning but this certainly improved as the tour went on.

The tour was fine. The tour guides accent was very difficult to understand. He spoke too quickly and constantly to the point that people stopped listening. The pick up, drop off and time management was appalling. The pick up was late, we ran well overtime at each location and the drop off took and hour and a half. The tour guide had the bus driver drop off people he knew to a different location that took even longer. The tour guide himself, got off the bus and took a taxi back. AMAZINGLY POOR FORM. We were subsequently 2 hours late getting back and missed our prepaid evening dinner and entertainment. I recommend the tour, BUT NOT WITH THIS COMPANY!

Incredibly fascinating and somber tour of what Singapore went through during the Japanese invasion and occupation. I stood over the grave of Sister Mavis Jones, a nurse, killed at 24 years. Poignant. As I’m a nurse.
