Have awesome thrills on a V8 350 Chev Trike with a 60 minute tour from Paihia. For those that love adrenaline, experience the sense of freedom with no helmets (full seatbelts) on this beast whilst enjoying the scenic Bay of Islands.
Visit Opua - a marina seaside village, Haruru Falls, and Waitangi Lookout for some memorable moments and amazing views!

Cruise ship passengers need to catch the free shuttle bus into Paihia (approx 5 mins) and we are located beside the bus stop and the I- Site (information centre)

5.00We did a trike ride around the Bay of Islands and overall it was a memorable experience. Our driver was super friendly, made us feel safe, and was a very good, confident driver. He clearly knows the area well and was easy to chat to, which made the ride enjoyable. the highlight for us was definitely the the unique way to see the Bay. Riding along the coastline on a trike is something different and fun, and we appreciated the care taken to make sure we were comfortable throughout the ride.

5.00Old fellas on touring trike for an hour. Steve, our 'Angel' , was fun and knew where all the road 'bumps' were. Saw the original port area, the waterfalls and the treaty grounds. Dropped us back at the wharf. Loads of photos for biker brigade.

5.00We really enjoyed this experience and had a great time with Steve. Would definitely recommend. My only issue was that we only had about 50 minutes on the bike and didn't venture that far, but what we did do was fab.

5.00We had a great ride on the thunder trike with our driver Andy. Things started out poorly, because we couldn't get off the cruise ship in time for our tour (we should have allowed more time due to tendering). We contacted the tour operator that we would be late, and they responded back and even sent our driver to the tendering dock, but we miss their message. We finally found them, but we were a half an hour late for our one-hour tour. No, worries, Andy piled us in and we took off in a hurry! I think we went even faster that usual because we were late. It was thrilling! Fast acceleration and turns. We went all around the peninsula, and he only had to cut out one stop. He gave us an extra 10-15 minutes. We still had time for photos at the lookout point at the end. A great, exciting tour!

5.00Thrilling ride viewing some sites around Paihia. Different experience from the usual tours on offer. Operators easy to communicate with. Would recommend doing along with a ferry to Russell if visiting for the day from a cruise ship.
