The fishing on the bay is an exciting chance to reel in Sheepshead, Black Drum, Sandtrout, Whiting, and many others, including SHARK! Bay fishing trips primarily target tasty sand trout and whiting, but customers will also have opportunities to catch red drum and black drum. Customers can also bring their own gear if they desire, but Captain Murphy’s will not be responsible for it.
All persons fishing, ages 17 and older are required to have a valid Texas Saltwater Fishing License. You can easily purchase a fishing license online by going to Texas Parks and Wildlife website and Fishing License

2.00This was a wasted trip. We paid $250.00 for my family of 7 and we only caught 1 fish. I was unimpressed. We went to 3 different spots, apparently the captain didn't read the fish depth chart. It was just bad. My kids were so disappointed.

5.00The captain and crew were cool! Unfortunately our trip out was paused for a moment while we had to take a family back to shore but then we went right back out and enjoyed fishing for the rest of the time! It was great music, great company, and good times!

5.00We had an absolutely amazing bay fishing experience as a family! The atmosphere on the water was relaxed and fun, and the guides were awesome—knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole trip enjoyable from start to finish. We caught plenty of fish, shared lots of laughs, and created some unforgettable memories together. It was the perfect mix of adventure and quality family time, and we would absolutely do it again—highly recommend!

5.00Yes, there's a restroom on the boat lol the staff is cool, funny and super chill. The entire experience was wonderful and they played music the entire time which I thought was super cool so it wasn't so quiet. Took my kids with me and yes it's kid friendly. Would definitely go again. Highly recommend.

5.00The fishing was slow but that was due to the cold snap. The crew tried their best to put us on the fish. We moved spots several times before we found a few. They were funny and informative. Even tho we were fishing, dolphins were coming right up to the boat. Lots of fun.
