Riding on the deserted beaches of Copalita is a one-of-a-kind experience. Compared to other horseback riding tours that book large groups of people, this tour is completely private and catered to your needs. Your guide will be there just for you to give you personalized attention. As a matter of fact: the whole beach will be just YOURS to ride on!

Upon arrival at the Copalita, you will be greeted by your professional and friendly guide who will give you a horseback riding introduction and fit you with your mount. Keep your camera ready to snap pictures of various wildlife encounters that may include cranes, boat-billed herons, the Rosetta Spoonbill, or even a Mexican Hairy Dwarf Porcupine.

What To Expect

Ride along the endless beaches of Copalita and enjoy the warm ocean breeze stroking your face while marveling in the breathtaking scenery and witnessing some truly magical moments. Riders of all ages and abilities can participate in this unique experience riding gentle and well trained horses from local stables. Your horses will be waiting for you, where your guide will match you with the perfect mount based on your skill level. After an orientation of basic techniques you are on your way, riding on the seemingly endless, deserted beach of Copalita. As you are trotting over the fine sand, you are sure to be amazed by this magical moment, surrounded by pure nature. We offer 2 different options for this tour: Option 1: Shortened Flora & Fauna Horseback Riding Tour (1 hour) Itinerary: Ride a nature trail experiencing flora & fauna Reach the Copalita River Optional 30 minute break to enjoy the river and the area Option 2: Regular Beach Horseback Riding Tour (2 hours) Itinerary: Ride a nature trail experiencing flora & fauna Cross the Copalita River Arrive at La Bocana Beach, where we ride along the white sand beach Optional 20-45 minute break to enjoy the beautiful beach
