Children must be accompanied by an adult, infants are considered babies under 24 months old

Due to FAA regulations, weight restrictions apply, there is a 290lb weight limit per seat, including everything going in the helicopter with guests. There is also an overall weight limit, if your group of 2 or 3 individuals, exceeds 550lb, please call our office to complete your booking. Misrepresented weights may result in the inability to do the tour without reimbursement.

There is a maximum of 3 guests per helicopter, we typically have multiple helicopters available per tour time

There is a 2 person minimum for this tour, to book as a single traveler please call our office

Seating is according to necessary weight and balance of the helicopter, guest preference will be accommodated whenever possible

What To Expect

Resurrection Bay

Our route will vary based on the weather conditions that day but our typical route flies down Resurrection Bay along the rocky mountain coastline, which is a perfect place to look for Mountain Goats.

Bear Glacier

Within the Kenai Fjord National Park guests can see Bear Glacier and its enormous ice bergs floating in the Bear Glacier Lagoon. This glacier connects to the Harding Icefield, which guests also may be able to view.

The helicopter 🚁 glacier tour was a truly memorable experience; I’m talking like, lifetime memory that I will look back on fondly for decades to come. We had to be a little patient because of weather, but hey, this is Alaska, but we ultimately were able to do the tour and it was very much appreciated that they didn’t just fly us around in fog-they really wanted us to have the best possible experience. Which we did. :)

Breathtaking, amazing, once in a lifetime, nature's unbelievable beauty - pick your description! Was our second tour with Seward Helicopter. Again, great staff, great experience. The pilot was awesome! Our trip to and from Bear Glacier was amazing - the ride was fun and exciting with a mix of tour guide and watchful eye looking for wildlife. We flow through mountains, around Bear Glacier and Bear Glacier Lagoon, then landed on the edge of the lagoon to just stop for a few minutes and soak it all in. Was a memory with my kids that I will cherish forever!

The view is amazing, a unique experience. I thought that 15 minutes of flight would be little, but it is more than enough to have an idea of the size of the glaciers of the landscape.

The most amazing experience in Alaska! We flew over glaciers, lakes and waterfalls. Watched bears, mountain goats and seals and even a whale. The pilot Renzo was very professional and was always concerned about our experience. An unbelievable experience with an amazing company. Worth every penny!

We booked this helicopter tour at the end of a week long Alaska cruise, and this was, by far, the highlight of our whole vacation! There were 6 of us aged 22-80. The 2 pilots flew us over the terrain and right over the top of glaciers. We landed at the base of the glacier for 15 minutes and were able to get up close to nature. The pilots were knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. This was an experience of a lifetime and I would recommend this company and this tour without hesitation! Very professional and worth every penny!
