Roy was great. He was knowledgeable and engaging. Historic Beatles sites were fun and interesting. It might not be as in-depth as some people would like, but it was perfect for us.

Allan entertained us very well and I would recommend this tour unreservedly. However, on a chilly day, perhaps a little more walking or considering a stop to chat in a sheltered doorway would have been welcome but then it’s impossible to control the weather and I feel the cold, I’m afraid and needed to probably keep moving a little more or get my ultra-warm cashmere socks out to combat the elements of the North West!

Rob was our guide and his detailed knowledge was immense relative to the history of Liverpool and the Beatles story in particular. His many anecdotes made the Tour really interesting plus he was very careful to ensure the comfort and safety of the people on the tour. He also had to deal with some interesting characters along the way (not in our group) and he dealt with them in a sensitive yet firm manner and with good humour. Would thoroughly recommend the tour for anyone with a keen interest in the Beatles and Liverpools musical history.
