Very informative, interesting and fun. Our guide was very knowledgeable and Beatrix Potter was quite an amazing woman, way ahead of her time.

We toured with Tim who offered many stories of Beatrix Potter. We had a fabulous time visiting all the historical sites near Hawkshead and Hilltop.

This tour is heavily focused on Beatrix Potter. There is a ferry ride included and a personal bus driver with a small group which is great. You visit a church/castle however you cannot go into it and you can walk around only, personally felt this was a bit of a waste of time. You then go to Hilltop to visit the house of Beatrix which was really lovely to see. If you have a car you could do this yourself.

The tour was excellent and the driver was kind, considerate, and very informative. His driving was so incredible on tiny roads. Cudos for driving. He was an excellent guide!
