• Felt More Like a Driver Service Than a Guided Tour

  Interlaken is an absolutely stunning place to explore, and the sites included on this excursion were definitely worthwhile. However, the experience didn’t quite live up to our expectations. We felt rushed at each stop, with little time to truly take in or enjoy the locations. Rather than a guided tour, it felt more like we had simply hired a driver who arranged access to various attractions (often with marked-up ticket prices), but left us to explore everything on our own. When I booked, I was hoping for a more informative experience that offered insight into the local culture, history, and context of the area. Unfortunately, we didn’t get that. This tour might work well for those who prefer a more hands-off approach or need help getting around logistically, but if you're looking for something more immersive and educational, this may not be the best fit. Given the cost, I regret not choosing a different option that better aligned with what I was hoping to get out of our time in Interlaken.

  This trip was good, you get to see a lot. It is basically just transportation around to the various stops. Mike, was super nice, but he is not doing the activities with you. That was fine for me. The lake was a bit underwhelming, the others stuff I liked.

  I was worried that the kids would lose interest during this full day tour...but everything was perfect. Our guide was fantastic and the day was broken up into several stops so the kids stayed engaged throughout. Good variety of places to see and it was nice to get out of the city and see the surrounding countryside. Very memorable experience and Mike was a first rate guide...he even provided his contact info in case we had any issues while traveling even after we left his tour. Great guides can make all the difference.

  This tour covered lovely areas outside of Interlaken that we would likely have never encountered on our own in the short time we were there traveling by train as we were doing. Mike was a fantastic tour guide who gave us history with humor. His depth of travel knowledge and advice was impressive. We loved the small group and personalized setting of this tour.

  Really enjoyed our day with Mike. He was friendly and very interesting to talk with. He's shared lots of information at every stop and really cared that we were enjoying our tour. Our itinerary was great and we would never have seen it all without a private guide. Well worth the price!
