We start the day with a stop at Strandakirkja. A small, historic church near the village of Selvogur. It dates back to the 12th century and is steeped in local legend. According to folklore, sailors prayed for safe passage through a storm and promised to build a church if they survived. Their prayers were answered, and Strandakirkja was constructed in gratitude.
