I visited for the first time in decades ♪ I think ... there used to be a zoo on site. It's been a while since I've been up to the castle tower, but all the castles still have great views from the tower 🏰

A place that can be reached on foot from the station. The premises are free of charge, but each time you enter the building it costs money. The kids seemed to enjoy throwing shuriken (200 yen) on the premises the most. You can enjoy the view all around from the top floor of the castle tower.
