The driver will pick you up at Capital airport or your hotel. Traveling by comfortable a private vehicle, about 1.5-hour driving one way. You typically have around 3-5 hours at the wall to hike and take pictures.

5.00We got picked at our hotel by Mr. Duan, although you can tell him to pick you up from the airport too. He took us to see the Great Wall of China, helped us buy the tickets, escorted us up to where he could and waited for us to finish the visit. He even offered us water and gave us souvenirs as a present. He was always very helpful and nice to us. After the visit to the Great Wall we asked him where he would recommend us to get a nice Beijing style roasted duck, and he took us to the restaurant and talked to the waiters to tell them what we wanted, left us in the restaurant and waited for us to finish our food and took us back to our hotel. Exceptionally kind and helpful, we would definitely spend any other layovers in Beijing with him as our driver.
