It was a full and information-rich day, but our guide, Michael Shi, made the experience truly exceptional. He guided us through each site with a depth of knowledge that made history feel alive—almost as if he belonged to another century himself. He seemed to know everything about the places we visited and explained it all with clarity, patience, and genuine passion. Thanks to Michael Shi, I gained a much deeper understanding of Chinese history. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone, especially with him as your guide

5.00Michael Shi was an excellent guide, provided clear explanation of the day's itinerary and very helpful when avoiding the queue. The security check Tiananmen Square takes long time. Luckily we were there early so avoided a long wait. Michael gave the group a number of options, such as a boat ride at the Summer Palace, or a tea ceremony, and these were additions to the tour that were appreciated. Definitely worthwhile but expect to walk along. Michael was very knowledgeable he gave us good insight of history.
