We had an excellent experience with Lily’s Tours at the Forbidden City. The place is huge and has a great deal of history to it so it really must be seen with a guide. What made it all the more special was our incredible guide, Renny! She was a fountain of information and had the bubbliest, warmest character that just made it feel like we were with an old friend. It’s only at the very end of our tour did we find out that it was her birthday that day and that she had happily accepted the tour because she wanted to give us an even better experience after having taken us on another excursion a few days prior. She even gave us a little token to remember her and the experience by. A wonderful lady with a heart of gold and a wealth of knowledge - couldn’t have asked for more - highly recommended !

Enjoyed the Forbidden City tour with Marco! He was so knowledgeable about Chinese history and brought the story of the Forbidden City to life. I initially thought about doing the tour on my own but would have been completely lost. I would highly recommend booking with Marco when you visit Beijing.
