Brilliant tour with Mike covering ancient to modern Chinese history! Mike picked us up at our hotel and took us in a taxi to the museum. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of Chinese history and also gave us really interesting insights into Chinese society today. We were taken through the whole ancient exhibit, with an explanation of the importance of each key national treasure. We then finished in the exhibit about the communist revolution.

Our trip to the National Museum of China was greatly enhanced by our tour guide, Mike. During the tour, Mike guided through the Ancient China exhibit located in the basement as well as briefly walking through two other exhibits. Mike provided detailed information about the history and meaning behind the artifacts which would have been missed otherwise. He also was able to answer many questions we had about them. The tour was about 3 and a half hours in total and took us through to closing time.

The National Museum was a phenomenal experience. My guide Mike was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He explained a lot, and we had an enjoyable time. I would totally recommend this trip to anyone, especially guided by Mike.
