Tickets to the Forbidden City require a real-name reservation 7 days in advance and are easily sold out, so you are advised to book the tour as early as possible. Otherwise, international travelers will need to line up at the entrance to buy tickets.
We offer free pick-up within the Third Ring Road of Beijing, beyond which there will be an extra charge, so we suggest you book centrally located downtown hotels. Please get ready at the hotel lobby at least 5 minutes in advance of the pick-up time confirmed with you a day before. No-show is non-refundable.
Please provide the correct passport information for booking the real-name tickets. Make sure to carry the same identification when travelling; otherwise, you’ll be refused entry by the scenic areas.
Group Size: About 12 people. There are chances that 10% of the tour groups will exceed 12 people but we’ll make proper arrangements.
Departures are guaranteed with two persons from Mar to Nov and three persons from Dec to Feb.
Since the Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, we’ll arrange Summer Palace instead of Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

In the morning, your guide will wait for you at your hotel lobby, and escort you on a comfortable ride to Tiananmen Square.
Tiananmen Square
Let’s stroll around the large urban square and shoot photos of the brilliant landmarks here. Note: To pass through the security check quickly, especially during holidays, we suggest you leave your bag in the car and carry only your passport and bottled water to go through the no-bag passage.

5.00We all had a great day visiting Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City and an Afternoon on The Great Wall. I would recommend tobogganing down if you're able. Our guide Murphy was brilliant and was always on hand to help or answer questions. The lunch was pretty good too, there was plenty of different options and the tea tasting towards the end of the day was enjoyable and tasty! Thanks for a great day.

5.00Murphy took us on a tour of Beijing to less famous destinations. Definitely prepared, with understandable English and a voice that never leaves you. The Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace and the Temple of the Lama were a discovery of traditions thanks to Murphy's explanations. Too bad the tour didn't also include the Temple of Confucius, attached to that of the Lama, with a decidedly negligible cost and a very special atmosphere. Murphy took us on a tour of Beijing's lesser-known attractions. He was clearly well-prepared, spoke understandable English, and had a voice that never let you down. The Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, and Lama Temple were a discovery of traditions thanks to Murphy's explanations. It's a shame that the tour didn't also include the Temple of Confucius, attached to the Lama Temple, which is very inexpensive and has a very special atmosphere.
