Tickets to the Forbidden City require a real-name reservation 7 days in advance and are easily sold out, so you are advised to book the tour as early as possible. Otherwise, international travelers will need to line up at the entrance to buy tickets.
We offer free pick-up within the Third Ring Road of Beijing, beyond which there will be an extra charge, so we suggest you book centrally located downtown hotels. Please get ready at the hotel lobby at least 5 minutes in advance of the pick-up time confirmed with you a day before. No-show is non-refundable.
Please provide the correct passport information for booking the real-name tickets. Make sure to carry the same identification when travelling; otherwise, you’ll be refused entry by the scenic areas.
Group Size: About 12 people. There are chances that 10% of the tour groups will exceed 12 people but we’ll make proper arrangements.
Departures are guaranteed with two persons from Mar to Nov and three persons from Dec to Feb.
Since the Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, we’ll arrange Summer Palace instead of Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City.
Visitors from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan must book at least 7 days in advance, and the name to reserve their tickets online should be in Chinese characters.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
What To Expect
Beijing
In the morning, your guide will wait for you at your hotel lobby, and escort you on a comfortable ride to Tiananmen Square.
Tiananmen Square
Let’s stroll around the large urban square and shoot photos of the brilliant landmarks here. Note: To pass through the security check quickly, especially during holidays, we suggest you leave your bag in the car and carry only your passport and bottled water to go through the no-bag passage.

5.00Absolutely fantastic. Unmissable. A must do tour for everyone trying to explore Beijing. This is how I have summarised this tour. I had an absolutely fantastic time. Our tour guide Rocky was absolutely brilliant. He kept us informed and was very knowledgeable humble, polite, courteous and had a great sense of humour. He really made this tour very special. The tour started with hotel pick up and then visit to Tiananmen Sq, and then to Forbidden City. We then went to the Great Wall and on the way had a fantastic buffet lunch. The visit to the Great Wall was very enjoyable and cable car ride was so much fun. On the way back, we stopped over for a tea tasting where we tasted 6 different tea in a very traditional settings. What was a bonus that Rocky carried an SLR camera with him and took pictures of us at key points throughout the day and then shared the pictures with us at the end of the day. Excellent experience.

5.00The trip was well coordinated with itinerary clearly defined the day before the trip. My guide, Rocky, was well spoken, very knowledgeable with the history. He was able to answered many questions on the fly which made the experience much more engulfing. Our meeting time and location were always well defined. The driver pickup and drop off were pain-free. I highly recommend doing this tour with Rocky when you are in Beijing and doing a tour to the Palace or the Great Wall.

5.00Excellent and memorable experience visiting the top sightseeing attractions in Beijing including the Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Great Wall, and insightful tea ceremony. Many thanks to Rocky, our wonderful guide, for his excellent guidance and knowledge of history and culture of Beijing. The tour was cultural enriching, well curated and planned very well. It would not be possible to visit all the UNESCO sites in one day without an excellent guide and tour. It is one of my best travel experience and I would recommend taking a guided tour with do it it again in my next trip to Beijing.

All admission and such was covered (RECOMMENDED) and I felt like I could enjoy the experience more. There is enough time to get a view of each of the monuments including The Great Wall. Great opportunity to meet people too!
