Tickets to the Forbidden City require a real-name reservation 7 days in advance and are easily sold out, so you are advised to book the tour at least 8 days before. Otherwise, international travelers will need to line up at the entrance to buy tickets.

Group Size: About 12 people. There are chances that 10% of the tour groups will exceed 12 people but we will make proper arrangements.

Departures are guaranteed with two persons in Mar to Nov and three persons in Dec to Feb.

Since the Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, we’ll arrange Summer Palace instead of Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City.

We went with Rocky and had a great time. His English was great and was really informative. He made sure we were on schedule but didn’t feel rushed at any point. It’s a big day but I felt that we got a good amount of time at each place. Would highly recommend the tour and would definitely recommend Rocky as your tour guide!

We have joined a 1-day sighseeing trip to Forbidden City and Great Wall of China. It was just fantastic !!!! Rocky was an incredible guide - very knowledgeable, with the great skills of making everything very interesting and fun. He helped us to navigate through all security on the Tienamen Square and all tickets arrangements. He made the Forbidden City easy to understand and he walked with us through the Great Wall to show us the best parts and views. Rocky took an excellent care of us through all day. I usually explore everything independently, but this tour was just brilliant !!!!! I strongly recommend to explore Beijing with Rocky. We will ask him again, when we are back to China.

I booked this company last night and today got a series of messages from someone called Sophie telling me they now had 15 people plus another 7 and and trying to get ME to cancel. When I said it was too late and they should figure it out, she said the system should not have accepted the booking. Ridiculous! The mini-group thing is a lie. How is 22 people a mini group? Also the price on the initial page is less than $40 and yet I paid $85.50 per person. The rate should only be this high when number are small. When I queried this she hurriedly cancelled. Thankfully I booked with someone else minus forbidden city, which seems to be the issue
