Tickets to the Forbidden City require a real-name reservation 7 days in advance and are easily sold out, so you are advised to book the tour as early as possible. Otherwise, international travelers will need to line up at the entrance to buy tickets.
We offer free pick-up within the Third Ring Road of Beijing, beyond which there will be an extra charge, so we suggest you book centrally located downtown hotels. Please get ready at the hotel lobby at least 5 minutes in advance of the pick-up time confirmed with you a day before. No-show is non-refundable.
Please provide the correct passport information for booking the real-name tickets. Make sure to carry the same identification when travelling; otherwise, you’ll be refused entry by the scenic areas.
Group Size: About 12 people. There are chances that 10% of the tour groups will exceed 12 people but we’ll make proper arrangements.
Departures are guaranteed with two persons from Mar to Nov and three persons from Dec to Feb.
Since the Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, we’ll arrange Summer Palace instead of Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

In the morning, your guide will wait for you at your hotel lobby, and escort you on a comfortable ride to Tiananmen Square.
Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)
Let’s stroll around the large urban square and shoot photos of the brilliant landmarks here. Note: To pass through the security check quickly, especially during holidays, we suggest you leave your bag in the car and carry only your passport and bottled water to go through the no-bag passage.

Our guide, Rocky, arrived at the hotel and picked us up on time and guided us through security checking points at Tiananmen Square, took photos for us, explained things clearly and did the same for other places in this tour. It was fun, relaxed, and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

5.00At first, I was worried that this tour might be too tiring because it included many places, and I was also concerned about the crowds. However, the guide, Rocky, was very professional and highly experienced. Everything was well organized, and I was able to visit all the places I wanted without feeling exhausted at all. The lunch that the guide took us to was also delicious . I enjoyed it so much that I ate quite a lot!

4.00Rocky is a very good guide. He is very knowledgeable. We visited the square and the forbidden city. Through no fault of Rocky’s we felt the tour was a bit rushed due to external factors outside of his control and other people on the tour were a distraction. This is low season and security was over an hour. I would likely not do this tour again.

5.00Michael Ren was friendly and approachable. He was also informative and helpful. Though I would have preferred a more persona and guided l tour rather than explaining a brief history of the location at the start and then leaving us to explore the place on our own which was the approach adopted by Michael.
