This was a wonderful experience that my young adult daughters and I had on this visit of Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, and the Great Wall. Prior to the tour, I was debating whether I should dedicate full days to the Forbidden City and the Great Wall due to their magnitude and historical import, but am so glad that I did not do that and opted for this option to visit each on a few hours. It was the right amount of time spent on each one. We walked some of the grounds of Tiananmen Square, learned of its historical significance and its role in today’s government. We then proceeded to the Forbidden City where we traipsed through the grounds. We learned that we could spend three full days there and still not see the entire place so a few hours there satiated our interest, as it all started to look the same. After an all you can eat Chinese buffet and visit to a jade museum, we conquered the Great Wall, which was a truly magnificent site and one of the highlights of our amazing trip. We were afforded a few hours to independently explore and walk the wall after a cable ride up, which is included in the price. We ended the day with sampling many fragrant teas. We had a terrific day, made even more special by Murphy, our tour guide who was knowledgeable, considerate, and a great person, who also gave us insight on life in China. We had not booked the second day and had regretted it. While we would not get Murphy again, we bonded with others on the tour and wished we could see them again on the second day but we had another commitment. Highly recommend this tour, and book for both days.

We visited the Great Wall with Rocky as our tour guide, and everything was perfect from start to finish. Rocky was with us every step of the way, making sure we were comfortable and enjoying the experience. He was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. What we especially appreciated was that he stayed with us even while we were walking on the Great Wall and took many wonderful photos for us, helping us create unforgettable memories. We highly recommend Rocky to anyone visiting the Great Wall. Thank you for making our trip such a special experience! 😊

This was a 7am-7pm tour. Murphy was an excellent tour guide. He gave a lot of information about the Tiananmen Square and the history of the Forbidden City. The Great Wall experience speaks for itself. I’d also like to add, the Lunch Buffet was very tasty. The Tea tasting ceremony was interesting, and so was seeing all the jade jewelry and figures.

Murphy was a very excellent tour guide. A main thing was that his English was very good. It made it easy for everyone in the group to communicate with him. He was very friendly and made side conversations with us along the way.
