Tickets to the Forbidden City require a real-name reservation 7 days in advance and are easily sold out, so you are advised to book the tour as early as possible. Otherwise, international travelers will need to line up at the entrance to buy tickets.
We offer free pick-up within the Third Ring Road of Beijing, beyond which there will be an extra charge, so we suggest you book centrally located downtown hotels. Please get ready at the hotel lobby at least 5 minutes in advance of the pick-up time confirmed with you a day before. No-show is non-refundable.
Please provide the correct passport information for booking the real-name tickets. Make sure to carry the same identification when travelling; otherwise, you’ll be refused entry by the scenic areas.
Group Size: About 12 people. There are chances that 10% of the tour groups will exceed 12 people but we’ll make proper arrangements.
Departures are guaranteed with two persons from Mar to Nov and three persons from Dec to Feb.
Since the Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, we’ll arrange Summer Palace instead of Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

In the morning, your guide will wait for you at your hotel lobby, and escort you on a comfortable ride to Tiananmen Square.
Tiananmen Square
Let’s stroll around the large urban square and shoot photos of the brilliant landmarks here. Note: To pass through the security check quickly, especially during holidays, we suggest you leave your bag in the car and carry only your passport and bottled water to go through the no-bag passage.

Wonderful Second Day in Beijing

5.00We are a group of 6 from Puerto Rico. This tour was very good and our guide Murphy was excellent. It was our second day of tours here in Beijing after seen the Great Wall, the Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City the day before. Today we visited the Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace, the Hutong Alleys and the Lama Temple, each one very interesting and full of history and Chinese traditions, very well explained by Murphy, our guide. We recommend this tour and specially we recommend Murphy as a guide. He was always attentive, speaks excellent english, gave us good recommendations for food, souvenirs, etc. It was a wonderful day in Beijing.
Overall a great tour option and a fantastic guide in Michael Shi.

4.00Michael Shi was a great tour guide and one I would recommend for future travelers. He was friendly, informative and while our tour was running behind schedule due to longer than usual lines on Chinese New Year, he never once rushed us or made us feel like we needed to compromise our experience. Fantastic tour guide. The reason for the 4/5 star was primarily due to: a) the restaurant we visited, the food was buffet style but most of the hot food was actually cold/room temperature and we had to ask for food to be refilled despite staff standing around the buffer stations, b) part of the tour had to be cancelled due to less-than-expected sign ups and despite the agency committing to refund half the money by a certain date, the solution only arose when I escalated the refund request through Viator. I imagine the agency must have been busy but it felt like they were stalling to not have to refund.

5.00Helen is very informative and well organized. She explained lots of good information in the Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. My family enjoyed climbing up to the 12th towers of Mutianyu Great Wall of China. It was really foggy and cold but was a wonderful experience. Thank you Helen!! Excellent tour if you do not have a lot of time in the city. Beautiful experience!

5.00The overall experience was good all entrance fees were paid redusing sevetql lines.we luchout wiyh yhe crowd size being small by local standards. I would recommend. However be prepared for sone serious walking. Our guide Judy Li was informative and chose a path which was stroller friendly.

5.00This was an amazing experience that I recommend to everyone. My husband and I upgraded to a private tour on day one for the summer palace, temple of heaven and Lama temple, etc. Or guide was Judi Li and she and our driver Wang took excellent care of us. Everything was perfectly synchronised, the pick up from the hotel and throughout all the visits. Judy was kind and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.
Nice tour, but don't take it during Chinese New Year holidays.

5.00It was an interesting tour. Will definitely recommend, but make sure you made this trip and the tour NOT during holiday season of Chinese New Year. There were soooo many people that we spend a lot of time in lines waiting... and as a result couldn't make it to the tea ceremony. But I don't blame the tour for that. Our tour guide Jack did everything jlhe could to make out tour as entertaining as possible.

5.00My boyfriend and I went for 2 days tour; the first day we visited tiananmen SQUARE, forbidden City and great wall.. The second Day we visited temple of heaven, lama TEMPLE, summer palace And hutongs square. It Was all very beautiful. We had Nice weather and We an amazing expérience Overall. The two guides Jenny and judy Li were both fantastic guides. They provided very interesting facts and were ready to answer All of our questions! They were both entuasiastic about the City and very Nice. Would definetly recommend because in 2 days we saw everything important whats to See in Beijing. The only Thing that I Personally would change is the next time maybe i would book one day and then the second Day having free time And then book again a Tour for the third day because we were for 7 days in Beijing and we were a little tired the second tour day. But like i said, if You have only few days in Beijing, please book this tour. We loved it. Thank You Jenny and Judy Li for this wonderful experience !

5.00I've taken a lot of tours around the world and I have to say this was the most pleasurable one. Mr. Lee got us everywhere safely and quickly, and Jenny was absolutely fantastic! She was exuberant and gave so much information about everything we were seeing. The buffet lunch was much better than expected and even the places we went that were sale opportunities (lets face it, thats going to happen on tours) were interesting and I actually made a purchase. This is a must see tour if in China and hopefully you'll have Jenny as your tour guide as well!
