Da Tong beautiful journey starts with morning pickup from your Beijing hotels at around 6:15am, driver will safely transfer you to Beijing North railway station. Take the early train G2529 ( 7:19-9:28am ) to Da Tong. Upon arrival, Da Tong tour guide and driver will on time meet you at the station lobby exit, there is only one exit at the same floor, heading to visit Yun Gang cave, undoubtedly it's the region’s most famous natural landmark. You will see has 1500 years old history from Bei Wei period statues, get to see one-kilometer-long 252 carving groups caves with 59000 buddha statues in, bigger size 17 meters high, small one only a few centimeters, especially the most famous 20th cave " Big Open Buddha " with exposing outside, the landmark of Da Tong, don't miss the treasure of ancient Chinese carving art.
After a simple famous Da tong delicious lunch, continue explore the amazing sights Hanging Temple, which is 70 kilometers distance from Yun Gang cave. Like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, it was listed as one of the top ten dangerous buildings in the world on American Time magazine, attracting many foreign exploration friends come. Boarding on the top, explore the 1500 years ago, amazing for its half cave half wooden frame structure, like a paper cutting stick on the cliff's temple. 5.00An amazing and seamless experience. Everything was planned by Cathy from Beijing. She was very helpful and kind, following every step and making the journey easy. In Datong, our guide George was waiting for us. We visited the amazing YunGang cave, had very enjoyable meal in a local restaurant and visited the hanging monastery. George speaks English and has all the answers to your question. He will do his very best for you to have an amazing journey. I highly recommend this tour !

5.00Very good contact with organizer. The driver was on time for hotel pick-up and train arrival from beijing and throughout the day The guide George very nice and interesting. Careful driver. Excellent lunch and the sights are fantastic. One downside: many people queueing at the most important points. It is sometimes very sporty!

5.00One of the most beautiful visits we had in China! Yun Gang Caves and Xuangong Hanging Temple are fabulous places. Our experience with this agency was impeccable from start to finish: the organizer was precise, clear and very warm in her messages. The driver in Beijing was on time and with breakfast. The subsequent pick-up by Mr Zhang, a very good driver, and our guide George, was remarkable. The guide spoke good English, answered all our questions, with interest and good humor. The lunch, which we had asked for vegetarian, was fantastic too. We recommend 100% this tour, it is definitely worth it.

5.00This tour was planned extremely well and everyone involved was punctual and professional. As soon as I booked, I received messages from Cathy who booked us the train tickets. She was very pleasant and helpful. On the day of the tour, we were picked up from the hotel, dropped off at the train and given breakfast, and then picked up from the train with an English speaking guide, Andy, and driver Mr. Li. Both were a pleasure to spend time with on the tour to see the grottos (YunGang caves) and the mountains (hanging temple). We were taken to lunch in between which was delicious and native to the region. I highly recommend booking this tour as it is all planned out for you and would be a little difficult to do on your own as a foreigner. Worth every penny! Thank you very much.
