• Fabulous bucket list trip! 🤩

  We had an absolutely wonderful trip. We booked very close to the date of the visit. We were in luck as our availability was limited and didn’t think it would be possible to go but something that was on our bucket list so booked it. It didn’t disappoint. The attention to detail was so great, Cathy’s communication was really considered and lovely, and the arrangements were super quick and information shared promptly so felt confident we knew what our schedule was/trains to catch etc. I was able to let Cathy know my access requirements and they were taken into consideration. Pick up from our hotel was smooth and the breakfast for the train was a really lovely touch. We were given clear information about where to meet once off the train and were warmly greeted by Serena and our taxi driver for the day. Serena was so welcoming, and her knowledge of both the Terracotta Army and Xi’an with wider context of the history of China was brilliant. Lunch was amazing for extra bonus!   I was initially skeptical that this tour could live up to its incredible reviews, but it absolutely did. From the beginning, Cathy’s communication was exceptional. She sent our tickets as soon as they were available. She also provided super clear instructions that made navigating the train station effortless. The driver who picked us up from our hotel even brought a generous breakfast, which was such a thoughtful touch. When we arrived, our guide Sophia and the local driver were easy to spot with their signs, and they welcomed us warmly with bottled water. Sophia also explained the history of China’s dynasties and its past capital cities, which made us realize that Xi’an is so much more than just the Terracotta Soldiers. Her insights gave us a deeper appreciation for the city and its significance. Also, Sophia checked whether we preferred to eat before or after visiting the Terracotta Warriors, another detail that showed how attentive she is. (Speaking of lunch) The food was incredible, one of the highlights of the day, and the museum visit that followed was just as impressive. Sophia was knowledgeable, engaging, and able to answer every question with ease. After the tour, the driver picked us up smoothly, and Sophia continued sharing fascinating information on the ride back to the train station. I truly cannot recommend this tour, or Cathy or Sophia, highly enough. It was extremely professional from start to finish and an all around fantastic experience.

  A huge thank you to Cathy for arranging such an amazing trip! All communication with Cathy was excellent from the time of booking and all through the whole trip. She’s very prompt in responding. Our guide, Amenda and the drivers were absolutely wonderful! Amenda was warm, extremely knowledgeable, and made our visit truly meaningful with her fascinating stories and explanations. Both of our drivers in Beijing and Xi'an were excellent- skilled, professional, and always make us feel safe and comfortable throughout the whole trip. We also enjoyed delicious meals especially Biang Biang noddles, it’s another highlight of our trip! Visiting the Terracotta Army was a dream come true, and this tour made it even more special. This is our third time booking with meto tour, their amazing arrangements and excellent service made our stay at china not only smooth and enjoyable but truly unforgettable! Highly recommended! 👏

  Ms Serena is excellent and very courteous guide. She has full knowledge and very patient. We give her full marks and we are happy. Mr Fan is also a very curteous and patient driver. He is on time as well.

  This was by far the best tour, from the start Cathy was so efficient in organising my transport, Cathy has great communication along with clear directions for catching the trains and meeting with my guide Amanda who was amazing very knowledgeable and reflects a true passion for her country history and heritage, Amanda took me for a delicious authentic lunch and knew exactly where the best positions were to see the splendour of the terracotta warriors, she was also a great photographer and captured great photos of a truly and unforgettable experience thank you Amanda

  Amazing tour and experience! Lucia was so knowledge and provided us information at the right time! I learned so much during the tour, I am left with curiosity and wanted to learn more and come back to Xi'an! Cathy made sure we were well informed at every step of the tour, from pick up to drop off.   This was an experience of a lifetime!! I loved every minute of the tour. Lucia and Cathy the organizer are the best tour guides I have ever gone with. So much knowledge and information, it made the experience so memorable and meaningful to me. This was the top of my life long wishes to travel to, and doing this tour made it extra special to me.
