The Belgrade Fortress
After pickup, the tour begins at the mighty Belgrade Fortress, whose walls have stood for over two millennia. You’ll discover why the city earned the title “ the Rampart of Christianity” and learn which great empires once ruled this area. As you explore this open air musem, your guide will reveal countless sites and captivating stories. This exploration is the perfect introduction to Belgrade’s rich past.
Belgrad Military Museum
During the tour through the Fortress you'll walk by the open exhibition of Belgrade Military Museum. Here you can see weaponry from WWI and WWII, but also a '99 Yugoslav Army missile launcher which hit and brought down the "invisible" F-117 stealth bomber. You'll learn from the guide how Yugoslav Air Defence managed to "see" it on the radar and hit it.

5.00This was one of the best tours we ever did and that was due to our wonderful guide Dusan. He is very punctual, knowledgeable, humorous, committed and has responded flexibly to our interests. Organization was perfect, pick up by minivan outside the hotel. Dusan's English is also perfect, so we all understood him perfectly. I have been to Belgrade several times, but I have been able to learn new things from Dusan. Such a dedicated guide is what you want for every destination!
