We will know the Belo Horizonte that the city has. The square is in a very high place in the city, where in 1980 a mass was celebrated by Pope John Paul II, hence its name, being the official name of Praça Israel Pinheiro, Minas Gerais politician. Feira de Artesanato
Wake up early to enjoy this traditional fair on Afonso Pena Avenue, since the 60s. There are over 2000 exhibitors that happens every Sunday of the year in the morning.
Santuario Arquidiocesano Sao Francisco de Assis
Wonderful example of world architecture. Oscar Niemeyer project, with UNESCO title of 2016. Small in size but grand in its unique architectural artwork.
Casa Kubitschek
Beautiful home of Oscar Niemeyer architecture for Juscelino Kubitschek's summer residence as Mayor of the mining capital. Period furniture with many innovations. The front gardens of the house are by Roberto Burle Marx.
