The trip to Berat was really enjoyable. The castle and old town were interesting to walk around and had a lot of history behind them. Belshi Lake was a nice bonus - quiet and relaxing place. The guide was friendly and made the day feel easy and well-organized. Definitely worth it!

The one day trip to Berat was amazing! Our guide Bledi started the day with positive energy. During the drive we have learnt some basics about Albania and the places we were about to visit. The first stop at the lake is nothing special. The more you appreciate the Berat castle, where you have walking tour with your guide and free time in the picturesque town Berat. Bledi also recommended us restaurants where to have lunch. The food was delicious! Thanks Bledi for this very nice day!

Long day out on a very hot bus . The stop at Lake Belsh was ok but not worth 40 minutes . The church was closed in Berat which was disappointing . The castle at Berat was interesting but the old town was the highlight for us . Very long day - wouldn’t recommend it .

Whilst the tour was interesting and engaging, and Nik, our guide was knowledgeable, there were a number of issues around transport and timings. For example, for at least 30 minutes we were delayed because the coach too high for the bridge we were attempting to go under resulting in us driving to wrong way up a 1-way street to continue our journey. The coach was air-conditioned but a killer shabby and there were a number of broken seats which caused physical pain for the passengers seated in them. On 2 occasions the group were left standing in the hot sun waiting for the coach to arrive to pick us up. Lake Belshi was frankly disappointing though the castle was spectacular. We think the tour should be advertised as being suitable for those with moderate fitness and a warning should be given about the steepness of the climb to the castle and the uncertain and slippery/dangerous footing. Other guests commented that they were wearing inappropriate footwear for the terrain.
