Since Berat is located further south than Tirana, temperatures during the summer can be noticeably higher. We kindly recommend bringing a bottle of water, a sunhat, and wearing light, comfortable clothing to ensure you stay cool and enjoy the tour to the fullest

Upon arrival, visit Berat Castle, a remarkable fortress where people still live within its ancient walls. As you explore, admire the stunning views of the city and discover several well-preserved Byzantine churches. Next, you have the option to visit the Onufri Museum (optional) known for its breathtaking collection of sacred artwork with vibrant red and gold hues.

4.00The guide Ervin was very knowledgeable. Only problem was I lost the group at the Castle and another guide was kind enough to contact Ervin, find where my group was and then get me there. Losing the group was my fault and happy that all could be rectified and was able to get back. Would love to have some kind of identifier for group so old people such as myself can easily see where the group has moved to.

5.00Great tour! Bus was clean, pick up timing was good. Highlight of this tour was Lola’s excellent delivery as a tour guide. The best we got during our visit to Albania. She is extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

4.00Our guide Ervin gave us quite detailed introduction to the places. We’re given free time (2-2.5h) in Berat City, which is good. Would be nice to have a bit more free time in the Berat Castle area for us to wander around. Group is on the larger end, but acceptable. And we’re not forced to shop anywhere (which could happen in some group tours). Overall it’s a positive experience, good for the price.
