The cruise was fantastic The guide had great English and knew the history which was really good The water was clear green stunning and the whole experience on the cruise was out of this world You cannot believe the freshness of the air the vivid colour of the Fjords and the outstanding beauty Honestly you felt you were dreaming The village of Flam is also a place of outstanding natural beauty The shops are on the expensive side for the British I have to say I am so happy I did this cruise and the Flam railway fantastic really and truthfully The experience does not explain you get the train all the way back to Bergen then it's a trek back to your hotel but seriously it's worth it The cost of the trip I thought was expensive but it's worth it honestly Well done guys

Fjord tour and Flam Railway are great but the other stops are very touristy without any authentic feel of Norway. Also guide provided minimal background information.

Informative guide on the bus part of our trip until we arrived for lunch at the ferry terminal. Two stops on route to lunch, first at a petrol station for a comfort stop and second at a beautiful waterfall with tourist shop. Lunch was a tasty wrap and soft drink. The 2 hour fjord cruise was spectacular and we were very fortunate to have good weather. On arrival at Flåm we had two free hours during which we shopped and enjoyed the free, informative Flåm museum. The Flåm railway was the highlight for me, the train climbed high into the mountains, sit on the right side for the best views! The Flåm train journey takes just under an hour and terminates at Myrdal where we then joined the 2 hour cross country train back to Bergen. The travel company had pre booked our seats on this journey for us but it was very disappointing that the two seats were not together and neither of us had a window seat to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The guide did not accompany us on the ferry or the trains. The train arrives at Bergen Railway Station where you have to make your own way back to your accommodation, however where you start the trip from is near the fish market at the harbour.

This tour was excellent! Our guide, Jan, was outstanding. We learned a lot about Norway's history and current affairs. If you want an authentic experience of this part of Norway, I highly recommend booking this tour. We only had four nights in Bergen, and I'm so glad we decided to take part in it.

This was a fantastic experience. Pick up was very near our hotel, scenery was stunning and highlights were the fjord boat trip and not only the Flåm railway but first part of the VY rail journey. Guide was lovely and knowledgeable and recommendation for bar/brewery in Flåm was spot on. Would have been better if what exactly was in the wraps was clearer and information about pick up time as I had to question this and assume others did as eventually there was an email the day before. I would absolutely recommend this trip.
