This tour takes you through steep mountains and deep fjords, starting at Zachariasbryggen and heading towards Modalen.
As we leave Bergen, we pass the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen, as well as the historic areas of Skuteviken, Sandviken, and Old Bergen. The journey continues through ancient Viking landscapes to the famous tidal current Mostraumen, where you’ll experience dramatic and untouched scenery.
Enjoy the taste of freshly made waffles as you cruise through the fjords, and listen to stories from your local guide on board.
Departure 1: 11.00 from Zachariasbryggen by Fisketorget.
We will return to Bergen and arrive ca 14.30.
Departure 2: 15.00 from Zachariasbryggen by Fisketorget.
We will return to Bergen and arrive ca 18.30.

What To Expect
Osterfjorden
Experience Fjordcharter Norway's 3.5-hour round trip between Bergen and Modalen. The tour will take you between steep mountains and deep fjords, starting at Zachariasbryggen and heading towards Modalen. On the way out of Bergen we pass the famous "Bryggen i Bergen" old Skuteviken, Sandviken and past old Bergen. The trip continues through the old Viking country and the famous tidal stream, Mostraumen offers wild and beautiful scenery. Departure: 11.00 from Zachariasbryggen v/Fisketorget. We will return to Bergen and arrive 14.30.

5.00It was a very informative cruise. The narrator had a pleasant and clear voice and shared great information about Norway and the fjords. We had great views of the mountains and waterfalls as well the beautiful sceneries with colorful houses. Would definitely recommend.

4.00Cruise boat was clean and roomy. Lots of seating inside. Outside was crowded, with people trying not to slip in the wind and rain. Would have been nice to have hand-hold pedestals for those people with unsure footing.

5.00It's a beautiful cruise experience. It passes through some very interesting and scenic sites. Tour guide Miss Maria is very engaging. She shared very interesting information about the sites. She informed us about the deepest, shallowest and the narrowest points of the fjord. That made the journey all the more interesting. This cruise covers more sites than those listed. I request the organisers to add pictures of the boat and a map/diagram of the route. It will help foreign tourists to understand where we are going. The entry to the pier is a bit narrow and can be missed.

5.00I’ve done a full blown Holland America Fjord cruise and this was just as beautiful! This is a perfect way to see the fjords in 3 hours, the number of waterfalls and the little towns and incredible scenery is amazing! The crew are friendly and our local guide was a perfect match for the scenery. Highly recommend!
