Depart Tirano and relax by train to St. Moritz or vice versa. In St. Moritz or Tirano, free time at leisure for sightseeing. In the afternoon, depart again on the Bernina train for the return journey.

1.00Hours of waiting in front of the station in the cold without organization of any kind. Without having any kind of information for the long wait, tickets taken in advance without having booked seats so without getting on. Only people who booked seats and with the affiliated agencies went up. A real total flop, I come from the brands, moreover, precisely for this reason eager to take the train that they advertised nothing instead, of course I sent the refund immediately.

5.00We took the red train from Tirano to Chur after spending the day there, very recommended escpeacially the cafeterias which are lovely plus the food is delicious.

4.00Although I enjoyed the train ride, please be aware that this is not the Bernina Express. It’s a regular train from St Moritz to Tirano that goes through the Bernina pass. If you desire to do that, I recommend it, but don’t buy from Viator or any other middle-man tourism agency. Just buy a ticket on line (much, much cheaper) or at any train station in Switzerland.
