Had to do an alternative tour due to the Dora Observatory and 3rd Tunnel being closed for the presidential election, but the company communicated the change of plans in advance and gave the option to change dates if you wanted. I only had today to do the tour so I went with the alternative plan and I’m glad I did! Ray was a great guide with a lot of information and anecdotes that kept the whole trip interesting. My highlight of the day was looking in on North Korea via the observatory. It was a humbling experience and felt a little voyeuristic, but fascinating to see the way of life they out on display for observers.

Jenny is the reason why our tour was so great; she was informative and helpful throughout, and very kind and understanding of peoples' needs. She clearly explained when people needed to be back on the bus too! Would recommend the half day to those who get tired easily! Wear sensible shoes for the tunnel experience

Gabby was my tour guide for the day. She was very informative and explained things in detail. I'm a solo traveller and she helped take photos for me and was very accommodating to my requests. I learned a lot of things on this tour and it was an opportunity to understand first hand from a South Korean the dynamic and ever changing situation at the border. Great experience. Lunch was a buffet with a wide variety of foods for all dietary requirements.
