5.00This DMZ tour ended up being one of the most meaningful experiences of our entire South Korea trip. We were travelling as a family with two teenage boys, and we weren’t sure how engaged they would be, but thanks to our guide Emily, they were hooked from start to finish. Emily has an amazing way of explaining history without making it feel like a lecture. She shared stories, context, and insights that made everything feel real and relevant. Even our teens, who usually tune out on tours, were asking questions and talking about it afterward! Everything was very well organised and stress-free. Transport was comfortable, instructions were clear, and we never felt rushed. Emily made sure everyone could hear, see, and understand what was happening, and she was great at helping with photos and pointing out details we would have missed on our own. This tour gave us a much deeper understanding of Korea and its history, and it sparked some really thoughtful conversations within our family afterwards. If you’re travelling with kids or teens, I highly recommend this tour, and especially Emily. She made it special, personal, and unforgettable.
