Our driver, Bill was excellent. He was very polite and friendly. He had a good sense of humor and he gave us insights of the area that we wont have known otherwise. Thank you for the safe and wonderful tour of your region. Memorable trip.

Alex was great! He picked us up from the cruise terminal and that was easy and seamless. He was so knowledgeable and did such a great job of using our time efficiently so that we got to see so many things in 5 hours. I would highly recommend this tour and Alex especially!

My co travelers and I chose this tour one day before we embark in our Greek Isles cruise. This tour was amazing! Thanks to our incredible guide, Spiros. We felt his warm welcome right away. He was knowledgeable, professional and engaging. He treated us like royals including the sumptuous and delicious Greek lunch that was served to us from the best Greek restaurant. He made sure we’re on time and maximized the time we spent in every place and landmark that we went. He’s also an excellent driver. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Spiros and Mr. A. Biliktsis

Our three couples had a cruise stop in Athens and wanted to take in as much of the city as possible, so decided to go with the full-day private tour with My Athens Transfers. We certainly made the right decision. Going into the tour, Greg was amazing with his e-mail assistance, helping us secure tickets needed, timing, and adding another couple who decided to join our group last-minute. Thanks again, Greg!! Our driver, Spiros, was at the port and waiting for us with his comfortable black van, and proceeded to begin our trek with a stop at the Acropolis. Got there early enough to avoid the heat and larger crowds. There are multiple other sites and a couple museums we hit over the course of the day (as outlined in the tour description), and we discovered Spiros wasn't just a driver, he's a Greek history genius as well. Filled us in with TONS of information between stops. Friendly and funny. Finished the day with some shopping, drinks and a tasty gyro meal at a restaurant overlooking the Parthenon, recommended by Spiros. Dropped back at port, where we began, with full bellies and plenty of pictures and memories. Thanks, Spiros!! Definitely recommend!

Our final tour during our Athens visit was titled “ Best of Athens, (full day private tour) operated by My Athens Transfer and manned by the incomparable driver-guide, Costas. Our trend of drawing outstanding drivers-guides continued. Costas was very knowledgeable, fluent English, and very engaging -offering constant facts and information relative to the site visited at that point. In doing so, Costas demonstrated many characteristics of a school teacher offering comments ( particularly relating to origins of Greek culture and history) and then soliciting our responses. His commentary was so frequent and thorough i was afraid we could not absorb and retain it for the test we expected at tour-end. We apparently passed. Just a suggestion, Costas would make an excellent teacher and/ior super guide. The tour itself was well organized with comfortable transport beginning with a visit to the magnificent Acropolis and its antiquities which, of course was very crowded. Movement and taking unimpeded photos was a challenge but very much worth the hassle. Much like the Smithsonian, one could spend a couple days in the Acropolis Museum. The tour is comprehensive visiting over twenty sites so it would be difficult to pick a highlights; but two sites we enjoyed was the panoramic view from Mount Lycabettus and the opportunity to visit the site of the first modern Olympics - Panathenaic Stadium. Our tour concluded with an early delicious dinner prepared by a hospitalable staff at a traditional Greek Tavern/cafe. If you have limited time, want some privacy, move at your pace, then we recommend this tour with the Greek goggle-king -Costas-at the helm.
